Reviews for Master Movers

Hiring Nashville Master Movers was a no brainier! Just moved to my new place on Berry Hill. These guys are excellent movers! Totally professional, on time, and transparent. No other choice if you're looking for movers in and around Nashville. Number one choice. Really solid moving company.

I don't understand these reviews, I didn't read these until after I used Master Movers. I'm glad I used them. I have just a two bedroom townehouse but we did have to stop and get my items out of a storage as well. My move was scheduled at 9 Am and the movers showed up on time and got right to work. First they took apart all the beds and moved everything from the upstairs to downstairs, this did take some time but after everything was apart and ready to go things really started picking up. They wrapped all the furniture with moving pads, put shrink wrap around my dressers so the drawers didn't open and took extra care with the glass shelves in my china cabinet. I didn't have to pay extra for the shrink wrap or tape that they used to protect my furniture. I appreciated the fact that they brought all the right tools to get my move done with no damages. The move only took 6 hours and we had an entire apartment and a full storage. I was very pleased with the amount of time it took and they worked hard all day without complaint. They were nice and communicated great with me, it was truly a stress free move. I told them I would mention them by name since they did such a great job, My movers were Michael, Artez, and Damian. I understand that moving companies hire a lot of movers and that some may be better than others but all I can say is these guys did a fantastic job! I would definitely recommend them to anyone who asked. In fact our office is relocating next month and I will be mentioning to my boss Master Movers for our office move. Thanks again guys for a great move.

Master Movers? More like "Master Rip-Off Artists!"

After seeing a recent "Amazon LocalDeals," and needing help with a move, we decided to give them a call. Jennifer was very pleasant to deal with and was patient as we had to reschedule the move three times (because of difficulties with our house closing).

I didn't want to pay for very much moving time since they charge by the hour. I rented my own truck, and got all of our boxes and loose junk taken care of the previous evening. The only thing we asked them to move was our heavy furniture. About 25 pieces, total.

On the day of the move, they were 30 minutes late. Three very rough-looking guys showed up. They were nice, but scary. They proceeded to slowly take a look at all the furnitre, whine about the treadmill, and then talk about their strategy for a while. The clock was ticking. It was a good 30 minutes before they really started removing furniture from my home.

They were excellent packers. The items on the truck didn't move an inch. However, several hours later, we still hadn't left the house! It was maddening to see them slowly saunter here and there and every once in a while grab a piece of furniture. When I hinted that they needed to hurry things along, scary dude #1 looked at me with a death stare and said "Why? Do we have some kind of a time limit?" Upsetting, to say the least.

When everything was said and done, they had taken seven hours to complete a job that should have taken three or four hours, max! A week after the move, I wrote a long letter of complaint and asked that someone get back to me. That was five weeks ago and I still haven't heard from them.

I would strongly recommend avoiding this company. They are masters at taking their sweet time while the clock ticks away. Slow, slow, slow. I couldn't be more dissapointed.

I used this company to move me from West End area to Mt. Juliet. They did a complete packing service as well as moving all my items. The pack went very smooth they brought four men and packed in 8 hours the first day, we have a very large house 6500 sq ft. They were very professional and had all the right boxes, wrap etc... my china got to the new house in one piece, phew! They moved me the next day using two trucks and a four man crew, everything went very good, they brought their drinks and lunch in a cooler and just popped down under a tree outside and ate lunch so it didn't eat up a bunch of time and they took 30 minutes off for the time it did take. We had a very large entertainment center in the bonus room, which we bought and put together in the room so I was afraid we would have problems moving it out. Of course it didn't fit down the stair way so I was prepared to leave it but these guys were so good they came up with a pulley system, padded the railing, padded the entertainment center and padded the floor, two got at the top and two got at the bottom and they hoisted that thing up and over like a piece of cake. I was very impressed with the work they did and they were so nice and professional. I had Mieco, Michael, Kory and Josh and they were fantastic. I recommend asking for any of them and you can't go wrong. They went way above and beyond for us and we really appreciate it! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!

Let me start by saying that the movers themselves were very polite.

The story begins with the movers showing up 1.5 hours late, with ABSOLUTELY no heads up that they were behind. (management should have called me)

When the movers arrived, they went right to work. They were hitting the ball out of the park, until the first hour passed. After that, these two boys (approx 18 years old), and their boss (a middle aged man who oversaw the move) moved about as slow as my grandmother. I had a 1600 sq. ft. apartment that took 3.5 hours to load!!! Are you kidding? After they emptied ALMOST everything out of the apartment, without looking to make sure that they got everything, they headed off to out new home.

When they arrived at my new house, it took them only 1.5 hours to unload, and thats because we told them that they were moving too slow. I was pretty bummed about the load time, but I got over it. They unloaded everything and then they left.

About 3 minutes after they left, I noticed that they forgot the washer and dryer from my apartment!! I figured no big deal, Ill call them and we can go and get it. When I called the manager(Jennifer) told me that she would call them, and said that they would come right back. Fifteen minutes later, I decided to call her. No answer. I finally started calling over and over until she answered (about 25 minutes after they left at this point), and she told me that they were too far away and that they could come back tomorrow, but she would charge me an extra $75 an hour. I lost it at this point. First she dodged my calls, and then she said that they could do what they were supposed to do in the first place for an additional charge?!?!?! Are you kidding me?

I then gave her an option, garnish the tips that I gave her three worthless workers ($15 a piece which I still think was too much) and they could pay for what they forgot. She then told me that she would discuss it with them and then call me back. Again, no return call. I then called her after about an hour and left a voicemail letting her know how upset I was with her poor execution of management, and that if $75 was more important to her than a negative review, then so be it.

Needless to say, I moved the washer and dryer with a friend, and now this review will find its way to every website that I can find.

Awful!!! Showed up late, very unprofessional, took forever and overcharged me. There's plenty of other movers in Nashville that I would recommend over them! 2 men and a truck are much better.

Wonderful- highly recommended – We did not originally hire Master Movers for our move. The movers we did hire (Top Ranked Movers- STAY FAR AWAY) totally screwed us and didn't show up to do our move. Some guys from Master Movers came in on their day off to help us out. Harrison and his team did a great job. They treated our items with care. We are moving again in a few months and we will definitely be calling them again. Great company!
