I attended a party at their activity center it was so nice. I wish my apartment let me have parties at our center. I think I will be moving in here.
There are brand new computers in the Activity Center I love how they are always trying to improve our living the kids enjoy the Activity center.
We had our sons birthday party at the Activity center and they were so helpful. They were there to accommodate all our needs for the special day.
I really like living in this place I have to move now moving out of the state but I hope I find some apartments just like this one.
Laundry rooms in the buildings are shoddy, leaking from behind and probably require a mold check. Parking is non-existent, and everything else is ala-cart. Management only responds to reviews all day long and not directly to the residents. If there was a "Resident Satisfaction Survey" done by current residents I can bet you that it wouldn't look very promising. Management should understand that the happier the residents the more they wouldn't be soooo desperate for new ones because the old ones will continue to stay put - it's really not rocket science. Instead they choose to screw with the residents, put tickets on their cars (yes their own residents get tickets from PLB and the cost of the ticket $40 is tacked on to your rent). Oh you don't want tickets? Then pay $60 a mo for a "reserved" parking spot. PLB knows that there are not enough parking spaces provided per unit so you are forced to pay for a spot monthly.
Recently in the last 6 months or so PLB decided to move in a business next to me - without notice. A painting and handyman business that operates right next to my apt. Workers are constantly hanging out in the hallway, outside my door, moving things from the storage (which is also in the hallway). See pics. I work nights and try to sleep during the day and all i hear is a door opening and closing constantly, keys jingling in the hallway, and items being moved constantly. I have brought this up to managements attention and nothings been done. I went as far as getting a lawyer to write them a letter and they haven't even replied - this is the kind of customer service a long time resident gets? Amazing! So I even offer to move to a more expensive apt within the complex (to resolve the issue) and I got a response, "Please remember you have a lease" - this is the response I got because I wanted to upgrade from what seems like the outside of a construction company or hardware store to somewhere with a little more peace.
The truth is PLB is soo desperate about maintaining their public image vs how they look from the inside from a residents standpoint (I bet they will respond to this review). Simple solution? Keep your current residents happy and you wont be soo desperate to seek out new ones because you have mistreated your old tenants. This is why your turnover of apartments is very high - you don't seem to care about the residents issues. Learn some customer service skills and stop making the same old excuses like "We have 11,000 residents blah blah blah" - we didn't move in here to hear excuses. Treat us like we matter and maybe, just maybe people like us wouldn't WASTE our precious time & we would actually be satisfied tenants.
I wasn't asking for free TV, Free gas, free parking, etc. I was asking you (as management) to have some common courtesy and address our issues as residents. Have the common courtesy to notify residents when you would be moving a BUSINESS right next door to them - IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK? DO WE NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO KNOW THAT THERE'S A CONSTRUCTION/PAINTING/CONTRACTOR/HANDYMAN BUSINESS OPERATING NEXT TO US? How would you feel if I moved in a similar business next door to you? How would you feel when every time you looked through your peephole there are people standing outside your door? Annoying right?
We need new management that actually CARES about current residents.
