what shame this place lowered their standards and stopped 'listening' to their customer....if they ever did....since my first visit in 2006 I became a monthly member in 2009 as I was living in LA more often....I think this place is good if you are using the UV tanning beds.....

for those of us taking more care of our skin and have already made the change to Mystic...RUN...RUN FAR AWAY>>>>GO ELSEWHERE!!!!! They have changed the solution and th new solution is HORRIBLE!!...(see photos)....if you are not 80 be ready to look it....this new solution is so dry it cracks like you were dried leather....its the worse solution I have ever had in a salon. Apparently they don't plan on changing so....I will...I have to say i was THRILLED at the physical changes but lets be honest.....we are there 15 min...what? every other day....so isn't the other 47 hrs and 45 min what you really want a positive result from. You won't get it here....leaving sadly....and I hear...so are others....

Myssssssssssssstic! – So, I am realy surprised at the reviews on here. Have been coming here for years and have had nothing but positive results. I dont use the beds though only spray tan. And I never had billing issues with them either especially when I put my account on hold. And JJ is great. he always knows me and all of his other custimers when they walk in. Nothing but a great experience.

Darque Tan - Phototoxic dermatitis – I developed 2nd and 3rd burns after 9 minutes of tanning here because the leftover cleaning agents on the bed combined with the bulbs (contact dermatities) literally gave me 2nd and 3rd degree burns. I had go to the dermatologist for my blisters and burns and took prescription medication and prescription ointment. The dermatologist and pharmacy worker both confirmed my burns are so bad they will scar. Please don't go here and if you do, do the stand up tanning so you don't end up with burns that will leave scars.

dont join – I was a member here for a while, my only issue was it was difficult to get the company to stop billing me, i would suggest only buying tanning visits here, and avoid giving them your credit card

FUNGUS FROM TANNING BEDS – I started tanning at Darque Tan a couple months ago, and after about the first month, I noticed little white spots all over my body. The staff told me to use lotions and I did, and the spots did not go away. Finally I went to see a doctor and he told me that the white spots were FUNGUS from the tanning beds not being cleaned properly. Furthermore, the medication for it is not covered by insurance and is over $60 per bottle. I contacted Darque Tan customer service and asked them to kindly refund me for the tans, at which point the rep told me that white spots are NORMAL, and that everyone gets them. I told them they are not normal and I would fax the information from my doctor and they continued to tell me the spots are not their fault. I have tanned for over 5 years and have never had any issue with fungus from tanning beds. They still have yet to refund me anything and the issue is still unresolved. So, beware- apparently Darque Tan thinks fungus from tanning is normal. If you do not want "normal fungus" I would advise you tan elsewhere.
