Very friendly and professional salon & staff!!! – I was looking for a salon to get my waxing & facial done in the Sugarland area. I came across this salon and I absolutely loved my experience here! It is one of the best facials I have ever gotten. My skin used to look dull, but now my friends have been complimenting my skin recently and have been asking me where I go for facials. I am going to keep up my skin care regimen with regular facials here! The staff was extremely friendly & professional as well!!!
Wrost experience, do not risk your face and waste your money – We bought a Dealfinder voucher for facial, pedi spa, shampoo & blow dry & eye brow wax
-Facial: the Polish Chemical that she used was very painful and after that, some of my hair close to my face turned white, then she left a lot of mask on my face, the steamer was too hot and she kept pushing my face into that direction, after that, no moisturizer or lotion.
-Shampoo & Blow Dry: after my facial, she asked me to go outside to shampoo my hair telling me not to change back to my clothes, so I only had a towel on and sitting outside the Salon to do my shampoo, then after the 'blow dry' half of my hair still wet.
- Pedi Spa: just put your feet into some hot water, after 10 mins, she will pour the water into the same place where you had your hair washed, then add some hot water and let the next customer to use. (Scary)
- Eye Brow Wax: after all that experiences, I have decided that I will not risk anymore, I don't want her to messed up my eye brow or any part of my face, so I decided not to do the wax
Worst experience ever – We bought a Dealfinder voucher for facial, pedi spa, shampoo & blow dry. They are not professional. They don't have any customer service. Just don't waste your time & money.
Very Good Service – Had a great experience at the salon. One of the few salons in town that actually does use Shahnaz products. Best facial I've had in a long time. Thanks, Shalini.
Great Experience!!!! Great Price – This is a beautiful Salon run by a very friendly lady. She tires to make the experience very good and helps the pricing is amazing. She is really good at Facials and waxing. I will definatly go back to them.
Very Refresing!!! – "spent 2.5 hours with a comfortable and relaxed environment."
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY IN THIS BUSINESS!!!! – I had a horrible experience at In Style during my visit. My friend and I bought a coupon for $21 that included 4 free services: two facials, 1 hair color touch up, 1 eyebrow threading. We scheduled an appointment for free facial at 4:30 PM during a weekday. When we got there we were told that we had to wait an hour because previous appointments were delayed. They told us we could either wait for an hour or have other service instead of facial which was our appointment for. Later on we figured out that they did on purpose so they can charge us on an extra service. Instead of wasting an hour, I decided to have another free service hair color touch up. One of the ladies that work there looked at my hair and said I needed 3 inches of touch up instead of 1 inch. The other lady who worked there also said the same thing. Since the coupon package only included 1 inch of free service, I was told I had to pay an extra $20.00 in order to do the touch up. She did the touch up with no extra care, after washing my hair I had color behind my ears and all throughout the front of my scalp. She left my hair wet without doing any blow dry or style.
Finally it was my turn to do the facial. The same lady did my facial. She first used an extremely hot steam on my face. I could feel that my skin was burning so I told her to move the steam further way from my face. She said she couldn
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE...DON'T WASTE TIME AND MONEY! – There are so many wrong things with Instyle Beauty Salon Sugarland I don't even know where to start.
- No customer service
- Not a relaxing environment
- Try to push you to upgrade services etc.
The old lady named Shalini who is the owner and suppossedly has a diploma from Shahnaz Institue, New Delhi, India and has over 25 years of experience does not know how to treat new customers, they must NOT have taught her this at the institute.
My friend and I purchased a Smart Card coupon for $21 it included "4 FREE" services, Our first clue not to get this deal should have been the required 20% gratuity! HELLO no business requires this! gratuity is suppossed to be earned by providing an excellent service.
We scheduled our 30 min facial appt. for 4:30PM. We arrived on time only to find out that our spots were taken by other customers that suppossedly had arrived late, I think they just double booked us.
I said "why didn't you call us let us know that we have to wait or if we wanted to reschedule?" She said "well everyone arrives late" so she assumed we would be too! what kind of response is that?
Her only purpose was to get as much money out of us as possible. She said we had to wait for 30 min. to get our facial but that we should get a hair service while we wait. I figured I was already here so why not so I decided to do the haircut and blowdry for an additional $25, she said the stylist would start working on me in 5 minutes. I sat in the chair and the stylist came out and said she would be right back. She was working on 2 other facials at the time. She sprayed my hair left me with wet hair waiting while she finished the other 2 facials and also did eyebrow threading on a lady sitting next to me which by the way was screaming at the stylist b/c she didn't listen when she asked not to do her upper eyebrow.
After a long time of waiting with wet hair, she proceeded to cut my hair, she was so fast as she had to go back and check on her other clients.
Shalini wanted to upgrade the facial for $20 and asked me a total of 5 times if I was upgrading and I kept saying no and she was obviously upset b/c I was declining.
The stylist was on the phone and told me to come into a room and pointed at the bed in the middle of a tiny room, I lay down and she left, 10 min. later she comes back and tells me "what are you doing laying there?", I said "you told me to", she said "come over to this other room!" The rooms are not inviting at all, this second room had a small twin size matress tucked in a corner of the room, there was no spa music. She said I need to upgrade the facial for $20 I said no and she kept insisting, she even went to get another girl that she just finished to show me the results, I said no, she said we can charge it on credit card if I didn't have all the cash I said I'll get it next time.
She was in such a hurry, put a blue mask on my face without cleaning my face first and said you need to pay right now b/c the owner is going to close the register, this was around 6PM and they close at 7PM, gave her my credit card and said that their machine was not working now and that I needed to pay cash, what why?? so I had to pay $25 for the haircut and $20 for required tip.
This place has the worst customer service EVER!!! We expected a quick 30 min relaxing facial but ended up spending more than 2 hours here, unpleasant, frustrating, and paying $66 dollars for it! We will NOT recommend this place to anyone and we will NEVER come back!!!
