Ok experience....will not return. – We went to this salon because our regular salon was booked. Everyone was nice enough and helped us out right away, but a week later - the work did not hold up. I had the same work done at a different salon (axxium) which held up for 3+ weeks. This one did not even last ONE WEEK! What a waste of money. Their attention to detail was not great. Like I said, they were nice enough and the experience wasn't bad, but next time I will make sure I have an appt. at my regular place and go there.
New Owners are awesome! – A couple bought this salon just a few months ago and they are awesome! Not only do they do a flawless job but they are also time efficient :)
BeBe and Tim are friendly and fun which adds to create an overall great experience!
should go there and try – I go to this nails shop every month to get manicure and pedicure. They do a good jod. They are very nice. Customers always have different ideas,so just tell them and they do exactly how you like and what you want for your nails. In my opinion, they are nice and do good job.
Not a good experience! – Tried this place because my husband bought me a GC from there a few months ago. Never again, though. I'll go to the place I go when I do decide to get a mani/pedi.
The water for the foot spa/chair was nearly boiling - ouch! Had to get that cooled down some. Not just hot but nearly boiling! Next, I was sitting slumped forward and to just recline the chair a tiny amount would cause the back roller to malfunction. Malfunction right in the center of my back, my back was itching pretty bad by the 4th time this happened, so I just asked for the chair to be turned off. He said the chair didn't "like" to be reclined but he didn't offer a different chair. I really should have spoke up and moved. When he rubbed the "dry" sea scrub onto my legs I thought I was going to faint - it was so painful compared to other treatments I've had done elsewhere.
The manicure wasn't as bad but it wasn't good! Especially since the guy cut me atleast 4 times!! One cut drew quite a bit of blood, no apology. Some of my nails are slanted, a few are now different lengths than the others and it appears that I got this manicure about 5+ days ago (instead of 40 hours ago) because he did not paint all the way to the bottom of my nails and it looks like my nails have already grown out a bit. Funny, he also didn't smooth my nails out with the file block.
I'm not a complainer but I should have spoke up for myself. I can handle quite a bit of pain but this was just a bit ridiculous to me. I was hoping for a good, relaxing time while I had a Saturday of no kids, no teenagers, no husband. What a bummer. My nails are a pretty glossy color but I could have had one of my girls "paint" them for me.
