Nice pleasant atmosphere. There are posters all of the place of delicious hamburgers. I ordered the Bison Burger for $15.00. I can't express how disappointed | was for my order. The same for several people at the table.
I expected that burger to look like of the the burgers on the posters, instead it was like getting a MacDonalds Dollar Menu burger. Seriously, this establishment was a very big disappointment The serice was very good. Our waitress was attentitive. The beer list was extraordinary.
We will not be back.
We have eaten at Tribeca Tavern on several occasions. We came for an informal birthday dinner for my wife. We thoroughly enjoyed our food, particularly the chefs burgers we ordered. We also ordered the grilled asian wings appetizer, and will definitely order them again. The ingredients are fresh, the service was great, the manager stopped by the table to check on us, and we will be coming back soon!
Will return – Excellent meal. Probably one of the best burgers I have had in a very long time. Service was tremendous. My husband and I went without the kids but we are certain that the kids would have liked the food as well. We will be back with the family.
Burgers and Beer!! – Tribeca is one of our favorite restaurants. Whether we are with our young children or without, we can easily get a reservation on open table and get seated right away. Great food and great beer and drinks
Love it!! – Rare burgers are fantastic... local brews are great... and outdoor seating is spectacular for this time of year!
Great Atmosphere and Beer – My friends and I find the upstairs patio as the best place to have after work beers. The atmosphere is great and we love the ever changing beer list. It is like visiting all the NC breweries without having to leave Cary. Good service with friendly staff.
Great burgers – I was originally intrigued by this place because they use a lot of local ingredients to prepare their meals and have their own brew of beer. I cannot comment on the other food, but I've had several of their specialty burgers and have never been disappointed. The lamb with taziki one is a particular favorite of mine. And though its just a tiny thing I also like that when you order one of their house beers they sever it with a hard sourdough pretzel on the straw. Its not much but its different.
Wow! Would not sell me Take Out! – Wow! I tried to order take out at 6:20pm on a Saturday. I was told by the girl who answered they did not accept take out orders on Weekends 6-9pm. I could not believe this! Really? So let me get this right, they would get to sell food without taking up table space? OK then, I took my money somewhere else!
Allergy Friendly, great food, and excellent service! – Allergy Friendly, great food, and excellent service. Many thanks to Vance! We visited on the advice of a friend that has a child with several food allergies and has always had a great experience at the Tribeca Tavern. We have a hard time dining out in the Cary and Apex area because one of us has egg and tree nut food allergies and another of us must eat gluten free. Challenging at most restaurants!
Tribeca Tavern was a great find. We called ahead to speak to someone about our food allergies and how they could be accommodated. The gentleman we spoke to was very knowledgeable on the subject of food allergies and what items on both the adult and children
Don't try to go there with your dog . . . – I can't review the food or service at the Cary location because they wouldn't let us eat there. We drove all the way from downtown Raleigh on a Sat afternoon, got there around 2. Most tables outside were empty by that point. We asked to be seated outside, hostess said we couldn't sit there with our dog (fifteen pounds, fresh from being groomed.) The hostess said it was a health code violation. I explained to her that that statute had been overturned and it was perfectly legal to have dogs outside of restaurants. She got the manager, I explained the same thing to him. He said that their "insurance didn't cover it" and the dog might "disturb other diners." Seriously? Very unplesant experience. We walked across the street to another restaurant in the same complex. Not only were they happy to seat us wtih our dog outside, they also brought her a bowl of water. Won't be going back to Tribeca.
