Unprofessional and Unknowledgeable – I would never use this company and advise anyone looking for someone to fix issues with their well to NOT call this guy. Communication and time management were poor. I was told on Sunday that he would call me and let me know if he would be out after lunch on Monday since he had another job in the morning. That was fine, however I never received a call. I called him at 2:00pm on Monday and he finally returned my call Monday night and said he would be out first thing on Tuesday morning, which was 9:00am. He finally called at 9:30am just trying to type my address into the GPS, having the wrong road name. So the 9:00am arrival time turned into 10:30am. During the wait I decided to help by removing the bolts on top of the well and open the electrical box to speed things up a bit. He does not bother to come to the house to announce his arrival, but immediately starts at the well. I walk down letting him know the wires were still hot. He begins to give me a major attitude about removing the top bolts. He says, " I do not know why people keep messing with stuff they know nothing about, they need to call a professional, I do not know if I should even touch this job. You have dropped two plates down the well." At this point I am about ready to completely lose it. I told him if he did not want the job to just pack it up and leave. He change a bit and said, "No, No, I still want the job." He checked the amps on the electric lines to the pump and simply said your pump is fine, you have a dry well. That I just need to wait until the fall so my well can fill back up again. So now I am just so completely skeptical of everything out of this guys mouth. I explain to him I can not even take a shower, not to mention the pump running 24 hours a day. Then he pitches a plug for some well driller in Pittsboro that can dig through rock like no one else around this area. So I am like Yea...sure, how much do I own you. So he was out of my driveway with $60 for absolutely nothing, but a few opinions that all turned out to be false. I finished pulling the cap of the well when he left and low and behold, there were the plates he said I dropped into the well, just sitting there right on top, wow. I shined a flashlight down the well, there was water 20 ft. down in a 600ft well. Dry, really. Anyway the solution was to pull the pump and found a large hole in the coupling that attaches the plastic pipe to the pump. Just replaced everything and back in business with much thanks to Rural Plumbing and Heating. They helped me pull the pump and replace everything and made the perfect ending to a not so perfect day. So don't waste your time and money on this guy. All of the symptoms pointed to a pump issue or a hole in the pipe. You would think he would know this, being a professional.
