Terrible experience. They told me it wouldn't hurt and then when it did they charged me extra for numbing. Really? They burned my underarm and left a scar. They have different people there all the time. I tried to get my money back they they made no concessions. I am not going back

WARNING DO NOT GO HERE! READ THIS!. Their laser removal is a scam, apparently the other reviewers work there or are on drugs. First- it's $4000 and the bottom line is THERE IS NO MONEY BACK GUARANTEE. So if it fails, (which read up) it does a lot! Then they keep your money and you get to keep just as much hair as you had before. My husband did this for two and a half years with NO hair reduction. Their reply?? You can just keep paying for extra sessions and hope it magically goes away.. then they told him it was hard to get rid of his type of hair and they have NEVER seen this before... So I addressed that with a rep on their website, here is the conversation:

Camille: Hi Jennifer

Camille: How are you doing?

Jennifer: Hi

Jennifer: Great thank you

Jennifer: I was wanting to get hair removed off my back and arms

Camille: Great!

Jennifer: My hair is thick, black and coarse as I am Italian

Camille: Right now is a great time to look into your options because we are running our Guest Appreciation sale that will save you up to 70% off.

Camille: Black hair is perfect for laser hair removal.

Jennifer: I was wondering if it does NOT work, do you have a guarantee?

Camille: We do offer lifetime membership that will guarantee your results. Our consultant can go more in detail with you about this but you should have great results if you hair is black and coarse!

Camille: How are you taking care of the hair now?

Camille: shaving, waxing, etc

Jennifer: So there is no money back guarantee if it fails, just more sessions?

Camille: I don't believe there is a money back guarantee but we will evaluate you through out treatment to make sure you are on the road to being hair free. Our consultant can verify this with you.

SO to sum it up a person with hair and ethnicity like my husband should have "great results?" at this point, please look at the pictures I posted of my husband's back and burnt shoulder and see what happens to someone who it doesn't work for.

He did not know what he was getting himself into and we lost our money, but now you have the chance to NOT DO THIS!! Please tell everyone you know to stay away from Ideal Image!

Best decision. Seriously, i was a little shocked when i first found out how much this costs, especially when compared to the prices at some medical spas, But I felt so comfortable there and they had a payment plan, so I went with them. My friend went with the medical spa a year ago for 6 treatments and all the hair came back. I am still going through my nine treatments at Ideal but the hair isn't coming back! My friend thought it was a joke about using different lasers but it is so true. Our results are so different. She said that she is now going to go to Ideal and start her treatments all over again. Glad I went with my gut. I have never felt better- my legs feel softer than I thought they could.

Michelle is the best. I have been going to this salon since I moved here with my family in 89. They are the best....no words describe it. If you are lucky enough to get Michelle (partial owner) you are in good hands!

Very pleased. I just signed up with Ideal Image during there Image day and i was very excited to get started and i highly recomend going! There staff is so nice, and there very professional. They make you feel right at home. I think i made the best decision going to them, I have heard a lot of horor stories and i think i chose a great place. Deffinitly recomend!

I was disappointed. I went to Ideal Image in Winston-Salem on Stratford Rd. The laser did not work to remove my hair and I got a burn. I had saved up my money and I don't have a lot. Next time I think I will go to a private medical office.

They burned me. I went to Ideal Image for laser hair removal on my beard and they burned me. I told them it was hurting a lot while she was doing the hair removal but she didn't turn the laser down. I asked to see the doctor and they told me there wasn't one there. I will never go back there again. I made an appointment to go to a private Dermatologist in Winston-Salem instead. I cannot recommend Ideal Image in Winston-Salem on Stratford Rd.

bad experience. Not at all what it seems in the ads. Painful, tech didn't seems to know what she was doing. High pressure sales.

Not at all what it seems like in their ads. Ideal Image in Winston-Salem is not what it seems to be in the ads.Bad experience. High pressure sales. They charge extra for numbing. There is no doctor on site, only nurses. The lady who did my case didn't seem to know what she was doing. Maybe it was her first day. In their ads they make it seems like such a fun experience. In fact, without the numbing, it is painful.

I went to a private Dermatology office in town for my next treatment, and had a much more pleasant experience. The Dermatologist wasin the office and I met with her personally before my treatment. They used this great numbing ointment., and I didn't have any pain. There was no extra charge for the numbing.The Dermatologist set the laser herself. The PA did the case, and it was obvious she had done a lot of cases. She was cofident, and everything went smoothly. I will not be going back to Ideal Image.
