I hate throwing anything away especially when the thing was working perfectly for me.
My 42 inch LG Plasma had power but didn’t want to turn on. The TV kept turning on and then right off. I couldn’t stand it anymore. It was either a new TV or see if there was a TV Technician that could solve my problem at a reasonable price.
I called frank based on a good review online. He was straight forward with me on the phone and said there would be a charge to come and determine the appropriate fix. If he could do the fix, the fee would be applied toward the parts and labor. With that kind of honesty I felt comfortable laying some cash on the line. A small assessment fee saved me big time compared to just buying a new TV.
Frank came over the same day, assessed the problem, made the fix and was gone in less than 2 hours. I paid in cash and he provided a receipt and 6 month warranty.
Frank was a personable fellow who told me stories about serving in the Marine Corps and the Navy. He has been everywhere. I highly recommend Frank, and felt completely comfortable with him in my home with wife and newborn.
I don't understand why people think its ok to bash someone elses reputation when all it hurts is yourself. I am sorry but Franklin was very nice and promt when coming to my house to repair my tv. He is a very polite and nice gentlemen. He is very cheap compared to the other tv repairmen around the area and does not complain or treat you unfairly. He is a great repairmen and is very curteous and very respectful. If anyone needs a decent repairman for your tv hes the right guy for you so give him a call and he will be glad to help you like he did for me.
We called Franks mobile T V repair service . Frank came out to our house the same day. Frank was very professional and knowledgeable and had our T V repaired in no time at all. We loved Franks service and would recommend to anyone looking to get their T V repaired.
INCOMPETENT, DISHONEST, IMMORAL!
The owner went to my son's home (a young military person supporting his family on E3 pay!) to repair his TV. He represents himself as a member of NESDA (he is not and has not been in 3 years) and as a former member of the military so my son and his wife trusted him. Frank diagnosed the problem, asked for his money up front to order the part and promised he would return soon. My son and his wife had to call numerous times over several weeks before he finally came back. Long story short....his repair did not fix the TV. They called to request warranty work and he insisted the TV was fine. They asked him to come back out. He did and he charged them another service call. He still insisted the TV was fine in his opinion in spite of the poor picture quality and such. My daughter-in-law disagreed and asked for a refund since he did not properly repair the TV. He removed the part, did not return the original part and left. When my son came home from school he called Frank to inquire about his refund and was told he would only be given $95 of the $320 charged. Frank would be deducting labor, trip charges, parts shipping and restocking fees. He did not repair the TV! If he did not know what he was doing or was not able to make the repair, he should not have charged for the service. The TV now sits...missing parts.... no way for it to work. I tried to reason with Frank...not possible. He said he was a business man and he had to make money. His solution was he would return the part he ordered, no refund and we could put it in and as he put it "Slap" a For Sale sign on it to recoup what we paid him. A win for him but still no TV for this young couple!
Not the end of the world but on a limited income this is their primary form of family entertainment.
I don't know what branch Frank claims to formerly be a part of but what an embarrassment to that branch.....so much for some sort of code of honor! He is a crook!
This guy came out to my house and attempted to diagnose my tv. I say this because he told me he would have to do some research on my tv and never came back. Took my 55 dollars and never even told me what was wrong.
Excellent service, very reasonable rates and very knowledgeable. Frank came to our house, diagnosed the problem quickly and had us up and running in no time. I found Frank to be honest and trustworthy. I will definitely use him again if necessary and would recommend him to others.
Diagnosted Problem Fix TV - Works Great! – I will be honest Frank is not the best with phone customer service, but when you meet him his professional and knows what he is talking about.
He had to take my TV to his shop and do the repair, it took a week or so and brought it back when we agreed.
I have a 42" Visio Flat Panel LCD it needed a new video board. He replaced it for a decent fee and returned it the way he found it.
I'm using him again.
Bad Service – The owner and assistant came to my house when only my wife was home. They performed a so called "Diagnostic" which consisted of them looking at the tv, saying it was cracked and charging my wife 55 dollars. They didnt open up the television and perform a real Diagnostic. Do not use this company!
