Some Good Some Not So Much! – A friend and I tried this place for the first time and chose to sit on the patio. It was pleasant enough but the atmosphere inside is really attractive. The help was pleasant but painfully slow and inattentive. We arrived at 11:30 A.M. and at 12:35 had still not gotten our food. Not only no food but no drink refills and no bread and butter in spite of our requesting it. The bread arrived about ten minutes into eating our entrees. Upon receiving our entrees I asked for cracked black pepper and the waitress looked confused and said that she doubted it but would check. Not surprisingly, I never got pepper or an explanation. I ordered the Pesce Pasta and my friend ordered a baked pasta. My pasta was at best luke warm and hers was steaming hot. I presume it was because mine sat out while hers was in the oven baking. I didn't send it back because at this point we were starving and running out of time to eat. By the time I had taken about 5 bites my pasta was positively completely cold! I will say that both dishes were really tasty...especially the Pesce. Unfortunately, who wants to eat seafood pasta ice cold? When the waitress came back to check on our food, she only asked me about my entree and not my friend. She then remarked that the Pesce was a "lunch pasta and my friend's pasta was a "dinner pasta" and way too heavy to eat for lunch. We found this remark really rude and rather insulting. She was pleasant enough but quite clueless which resulted in her receiving a 15% tip instead of our usual 20 to 25% tip. This place has Huge potential but really needs to iron out some glitches. In fact the people at the next table were complaining that their order did not come out as described by the menu and that they had asked for bread and never received it! The people at another table behind us were asking questions about a wine corking fee and she just told them that she didn't work at night so she had no idea and they asked if she could find out and let them know. Well, she never came back at all...they had to get a bill from someone else! I will give this place one more chance but will sit inside this time. By the way menu prices are not cheap but you do get large portions!
