Lady Manager is Bi- Polar eat here if you dare – This was one of my fave places in south city. I went to this resturant where the normally plesant Asian woman who greets you at the door totally lost her mind. i know you can have a bad day at work some time but WOW she went crazy. She yelled and embarassed my guest and I and more importantly herself. Here is the story.... I came in to this resturant ask she asked me how many I stated two and she pointed to a table near the door. I go here at least once a week and since it has been cold. I dont like sitting near the door because the resturant is so small when the door opens as it does often it is really cold. I asked her could I sit a a booth that had bee set up with two , two top tables pushed together. She told me that it was only for four people and there were only two of us dining. So I went and sat at the cold table near the door. While waiting on my guest to arrive i looked up and say where this same woman told me i could not sit there were now two sets of whites setting at these tables that were now pushed apart. I later asked my waitress why i was not allowed to sit there?? And the other patrons were and each party there were only two of them. She applogized and move me away from the door. I then began to get dirty looks from the Asian woman manager. Everytime she walked by. My guest showed up sat down and where her chair was now near the draft of the front door , so my guest moved her chair to other side of table and this manager then rushed over to yell at my guest and told he that she could not move her chair there. I told her that she was cold and she began again to loose it and yell and say that we could not move the chairs and that "SHE WAS NOT A RACIST"" what the heck ??? I never mentioned her being a racist. GUTILY MUCH??? ( She also assumed that I was african american because of my dark skin) I am not I am Irish and Cuban.I tried to talk to this insane woman to explain to her my issue. All the while she yelled and told me that " WHAT WAS SHE SUPPOSED TO DO SHE HAD NO CONTROL OF THE WEATHER" I am now totally embassased because the whole resturant is starring at our table. I was insulted and disgusted!! I wanted to finish my meal so we stayed and ate and paid. I asked to see the owner she told me she was the manager ther she said she was the owner. Later the real owner came over and said sorry to us for her bahavior and stated he did not know what is wrong with her. My question why have someone working for you that would fly off the handle and yell at your customers. THAT IS BAD FOR BUSINESS. SO Lady Manager at Cafe Mochi two things please take your meds everyday and don't be ignorant and judge people by their skin color. And ask yourself since you thought I said you were racist maybe you really are.
