I LOOOOOVE this place. They are always crowded and there is always a slight wait, but it is well worth it. Service could be a little better, but overall, it is perfect. For people who like greasy pizza, stick with your big chain restaurants. Brixx is much healthier and doesn't have the greasiness that the larger chains have (that so many people love).
I didn't know pizza could be this bad..... – Great location - but goes downhill rapidly from there. The waiter tried to memorize our order and totally screwed it up. The 'wrong' pizza was also 'cold upon arrival'. The server appeared surprized when I sent it back. While the second pizza was being prepared, the rest of my table ate their food. By the time the second pizza arrived, I had to wolf it down to keep from delaying my friends. I had finished my soft drink so I asked for another one to have with my 'new' pizza. The waiter informed me that there were no complimentary refills on rootbeer so I just drank my sons tea-I was totally disgusted with the whole experience by this time. Then the waiter just disappeared. I would give this place zero stars if that were an option. Pizza is my favorite food-I thought I'd eat any pizza set in front of me-this was a first!!!!
Incredibly bad restaurant with lousy food and drinks! – Just how do awful restaurants like this survive? Is it because they locate their restaurants near busy malls like this one is? Let's start with their tasteless, lousy pizza! With crust so thin you could use it as a frisbee and its equally tasteless. Like cardboard. Using it as a frisbee would have been better than eating it. No matter which pizza you get, there's not many pieces of the toppings you order (we ordered three different pizzas) and their bland too. Let me backup here: BRIXX PIZZA'S WEBSITE HAS "ASK YOUR SERVER" ABOUT DRINK SPECIALS ON FRIDAYS AND SATURDAYS, BUT THE SERVER WE GOT HAD TO TELL US THEY DON'T HAVE ANY!!! Our daughter ordered one kind of beer that she said wasn't that good and it cost $5.50. Yes, I know she should have sent it back, but we couldn't get her to do it. My Diet Coke was "flat" with hardly any carbonation in it. O.K., so I should have sent it back too. Concerning the rest of our meal, the soups were crummy and so were the salads. Speaking of their salads, they charge almost $6.00 for a "regular" chef styled one, and they put it on this huge plate to make it look like your getting alot when your just getting a little! "CON JOB" ALL THE WAY AROUND IN THIS PLACE FOLKS!!!
Tasty & Quaint – Just checked out this place for the first time yesterday. My was it tasty! Felt like a neighborhood joint. It was a beautiful day and enjoyed the outside seating (with a nice cold one to follow). Wide menu selection with great wood-oven pizzas. Yum!!
Have to Disagree with the other Reviewers! – My wife and I went to Brixx for the first time this evening and I have to say that our experience was about as opposite from the other 2 reviewers as could be!
We asked for and were given a gigantic booth for the 2 of us (which could easily acommodate 8 people!)...despite the fact that the busy dinner hour was only about half an hour away.
The waiter was awesome and seemed to be delighted that we were NEW Brixx customers and seemed genuine in his desire to tell us the good stuff....he knew the Beer selection well and let us know about our Pizza Choices...my wifes being the most popular meat pizza and mine (Pear/Gorgonzola) being the pizza with the "cult" following.
The Beers he recommended were excellent (and on special) and the Pizzas were outstanding. Loved the flavor and the texture and enjoyed every bite!
We did have an entertainment coupon and so one pizza was free but even without the discount...the prices seemed fair for what you get.
We were off to the movies afterwards and this was the perfect beginning to the night.
We will DEFINITELY be back!
Rude Staff and Nasty Pizza – I would NEVER go to this place again, not even if you paid me. The food was awful and place was drab. Also, the general manager of the place was very rude to me and seemed to want me to leave as quickly as possible. I would advise against going to this restaurant.
Awful first experience – I have recently started working in the brier creek area and have been super excited about trying all the different restaurants! I had the opportunity to try Brixx yesterday with co workers. The pizza was great until I pulled a chicken bone out of my mouth!!!! I was shocked to find a small chicken bone in my pizza. When the manager himself tried to bus our table b/c our server was not around, I simply pointed it out. He made a joke about it and offered me a coupon for a "Free boneless Pizza" at my next visit. Then I guess he realized what he had said and then stated I could use it today. We were still charged for the pizza and didnt have time to disagree b/c we had been there for so long already, we had to go back to work. Its a shame b/c the pizza was great. I am just all about customer service!
