Go to a Real Spa. Melissa is a phoney, self-serving greedy liar. She should be run out of town. I'm so completely disgusted with the way she treated me and my husband after we spent our hard-earned money an her services (which we never got) she claimed we didn't show up for our scheduled appointment and told us "Sorry sweetie, you must have misunderstood, your appointments were yesterday." How? Our flight didn't even get in until 7:30! She charged us the total amount for both massages and a mandatory 15% tip!!! I thought my husband was going to explode. Then she started quoting the Bible. STAY AWAY! With what just happened to me at this place, I now believe the good reviews are phony.
My massage was wonderful even if I take into consideration the loud traffic driving right outside my window during it. I was extremely disappointed that both my mani and pedi looked a tad bit better than a small child could probably do and the mani didn't make it 24 hours after leaving. Ripoff! Also, beware, the lady giving the mani/pedi talked nonstop the entire time about personal things that probably shouldn't be shared with strangers and it made for an unrelaxing- bordering on super awkward- time. So in short: Massage- totally worth it. Mani/pedi- save your money and get a better one, for less, somewhere else! AlsoiTunes know, it is time consuming to set up an appointment as you'll play phone tag for awhile!
Stay away, owner is a "lip-service" Christian. She lies, cheats and steals while praising the Lord. I have been going to spas for over 10 years and I always ask questions about a facility before I go.
Melissa obviously knows how to lure people into her place because when I got there everything I asked about was exactly the opposite of what she told me on the phone.
When I questioned her, she got very defensive and told me, "you must have misunderstood me, sweetie." I told her "don't patronize me, just treat me the way you expect to be treated." That was when the bible thumping started. I put up my hand and said, "I really don't care if you're a Christian or not, you lied to me about your services and I want a refund." With a smile that would have made the Grinch proud she said "Our policy requires 24 hours notice to cancel an appointment, we can only refund half of your payment due to the short notice."
I got $45.00 back on a $90.00 service which I was stupid enough to put on my credit card in advance and never got the treatment.
My advice to you is go to a real spa, one that has real therapists, a real receptionist, a real owner not a sanctimonious, self-serving thief.
Top quality massage – We were greeted warmly upon arrival and were introduced to our masseuses, who gave us a tour of the facilities.. there are places for facials, manicures, etc. As a man, I found the decor to be a bit too intimate and romantic (I'm more used to the healthful European spa look), but it wasn't tacky or creepy and I'm sure many would love it.
As far as quality of massages go, my wife considered it the best she ever had, and I'd put mine easily in the top 20%. Very professional. Very thorough. All in all, a great experience and we'll be back.
