Kings is a ripoff. I had them check my daughters Accord there for the brakes, they said it needed 590 dollars of work plus perhaps 1400 dollars for an ABS module. I balked and took it to a BBB shop, there was nothing wrong with the brakes and they charged me nothing. My wifes Odyssey transmission failed for the SECOND TIME and they quoted $4800 dollars to fix. An Angies Liist trans shop qouted $3000 for the same job. AVOID KINGS HONDA. They are not honest, they want all your money and could care less about being honest.
I dropped the car for the service of muffler. I had to change whole muffler system because the pipes were totally ripped or splitted. I paid more than $700 for the service. HOWEVER, the problem was not that. When I got the car back, the engine light was on which was not on when I dropped. So, I asked, but they were like " NO, it was already on". they kept saying it. I am not a stupid, if it was already on, I would have already asked them when I dropped it. And they said that it is problem with Oxygen sensor heater...and they asked for more than 400$ in order to change
Since, I was busy, I didn't want to argue. So, I took it back and was driving without fixing it, few days ago, I went to different auto shop and asked for checking, and they said few option why the oxygen sensor might be on, one of the option they said is muffler. I mentioned that I changed whole pipes..and the auto shop technician told me that muffler might caused the issue and asked me to bring the car back to the dealer. Also, the technician told me that it would not cost $400.00..the oxygen sensor normally cost $50-100...
So, I called the Kings honda and asked for the General Manager, who were out of the office, Mike, I left my voice message with my phone number.
But I didnot get anything back.
I am trying to call Honda and ask for their opinion.
Bait and Switch! They advertise cars at very reasonable rates. Then, when you call about the vehicle, it's not there. They have done this to me with several cars, so I know it's a sales tactic to get you to make contact, not just an isolated incident.
Incredible Lack of Integrity at Kings Honda
I have had an unbelievably bad experience with Kings Honda in Cincinnati. It started with me committing to buy a 2004 Corvette they had for sale and having it sold out from under me. Not only did they sell the Corvette the day before I was to come to pick it up but they told me a bold face lie to cover up their lack of integrity. I was told the detailer that was getting it ready for pick up had crashed it into a guard rail and totaled the vehicle which I was later told was not true. I found this out because I talked to the sales manager to get reimbursed for the car trailer I rented to pick up the vehicle and since I did not live in the area he could care less about my request. The sales manager was also very difficult to work with and told me they are only interested in “pushing metal” or in other words to getting a sale. He committed to give me a follow up call and once again he showed they do not care about anything but a sale since I have not received the common courtesy of the promised call. Buyer beware of Kings Honda.
Stay away! Purchased 2011 Pilot. Didn't start next day. Called Kings Honda and they didn't care. If you want a reliable used vehicle don't look here! Very nice service up front. Bait and switch.
