Not very accurate at giving time estimates – I needed an alignment. I knew NTB did them and I knew I was close to this one thanks to an Iphone App. I called and spoke to Chad who told me no cars were on the rack at the moment and an alignment takes about 45 minutes so an hour tops. I was at the shop in less than 5 minutes. I gave the required information and my keys and went to the waiting room. At the 45 minute mark I noticed my car was still not in the shop, it was parked just outside a bay where a young man in an NTB shirt was talking on a cell phone while he one - handedly tried to get a spare out of the trunk of the car in the bay. I watched for another 10 minutes while he stayed on the phone. At this point I got the paperwork back from my car, brought to them, told them I have been waiting an hour and they havent even gotten to my car. I said working one handed with a cell phone might be an issue. He apologized for taking so long, but didn't seem very concerned. I will go elsewhere where they are a little more organized and focused on the job
Edit- the next day I brought my car to the NTB on Research near Anderson Mill and this place had me in and out in 40 minutes.
i will never take my car any where else – I came out from work at 8:45pm called n.t.b. to when they closed. no in site for.they closed at 7:00pm the guy answered the phone and said he would stay open untill i got there.i explained to him yhat i would try.He then told me to call back no matter what.So I called back because i couldnt find help, and now it was 9:15pm.The same gentleman answered and told me that he would send some one to get me and my tire.when we get to the store the lights in the shop was off and there was a car in the shop.because i had called another ladie was there with trouble and they were helping her.The lights came back on and they worked and fixed her car and my tire,We walked out and the sameguy gave me a ride to put my tire back.I was so thankful for what those guy's had done for me that night it really made my day.Later that week i ran into the ladie from the shop, and she told me that she had written the store and sent one to corp. as well.so i tried to look them up again on citysearch and decided to write this instead.i will go back for the service andi will tell all my friends about n.t.b. and this location. I hope one of you from n.t.b. read this because i would like to say thanks for every thig you done you will see me again.
Bad experience – I bought $34.99 road hazard insurance on all four of my tires. Sure enough, one of them tore on the sidewall due to a manufacture defect. When I went back to see what my options were, they gave me a %60 discount but said I HAD to purchase the $34.99 road hazard again in order to receive the discount. A $124 tire with insurance ended up being $99 with a %60 discount.....so I declined their offer, sent my father there and he left with the price of $55!! I feel I was ALMOST taken advantage of because I'm a young female with no tire knowledge. I will take my discounted $55 tire that my dad got , that for some strange reason would have costed me $99 and will never ever go back!!
