This is a nice place – I usually don't go out of my way to write reviews, but I've been going here a couple times a month for nearly a year and was surprised about the couple of reviews on here. This is a very nice place, and the girls who work here are very sweet and professional.

Not sure what happened on the 2 visits that are mentioned below, but I imagine that anytime someone shows up with 11 people for a wedding party, the place is going to turn hectic...I'm just glad I wasn't there that day!

I generally get the gel manicure, and I think everyone knows that lasts about 2 weeks, not sure where the other person thought it was 3 weeks. I also get the pedicure, and the massages they do with that are really wonderful compared to other places I've been.

I would (and do) recommend this place to friends and everyone has agreed that the service is top notch, and most important friendly.

I'll keep going back!

Go somewhere else! – The worst place I ever had my nails done. For my daughter's wedding we were 11 total, more then 1/2 getting mani and pedi. They were unprofessional, distracted, slow and even cut some clients this day. When brougt to the attention of owner (and unknown to me the culprit)she shrugged it off. My daughter (the bride) seemed to be about the only one without complaint and as it turns out the only local. So beware. And the one star rating (EH) it being generous.

Avoid This Salon – I don't normally write reviews but I feel it is my duty to warn people about this salon. There are many nice nail salons in the Saddle Rock area and I warn you don't waste your time or money on this one.

Walk-in to Sweet Nails and I was impressed by the decor and good nature of the staff. I was looking for the 3-week gel nail polish manicure... but I generally get 2 weeks out of this service. With that said... after I arrived the salon started to get busy with pedicure customers stacking up. It was clear that the lead person did not have a clear plan for managing the volume. Four different people worked on my nails and nearly 1.5 hours later my nails were finished. Normally, at other salons the gel nail polish service takes 1 hour when I get a french manicure.

Fast forward three days and my nails begin to peel and crack. Generally, I give a salon two chances so I went back the following weekend. I walked into the salon and it was busy. I should have turned around and walked away but I was there and had time to kill.

I sat in the chair for about 20 minutes and eventually I received an adequate pedicure.

Next was the manicure. I had to remind one of the ladies that I needed to soak off what was left of the gel nail polish manicure. I was then seated in a big comfortable chair with poor lighting and two ladies went to work removing the gel nail polish from my natural nails with very course nail files. I was unhappy with the removal method. In the past with the gel nail polish application it has been removed with acetone and pushed off. But, I am not the expert. Then, one of the ladies began to clip down my nails with a nail clipper that is generally used on toes. Needless to say she nearly chopped my thumb off. I was completely unhappy.

The lead or manager person offered a free $10 upgrade to gel nail polish I paid $50 for the mani-pedi and left a tip. When I got home I noticed that the tacky layer of the gel nail polish was not completely removed by nail tech.

I immediately returned to the salon and the manager said that she did not know what to say to me because my service was free. She said if I am sooo unhappy then she would remove the gel nail polish. I was mortified by the response. I just wanted an apology. Finally, one of the other nail techs came to the front desk and apologized.
