They will steal your moeny and ruin your floors – The worst work, service, attitude, and customer service I have EVER experienced.
I had them sand and re-stain floors and the job was so bad I had to fire them and hire another company. IN the meantime they had already charged my credit card for the full job though they did not complete the job.
When I requested a refund for the job not performed - Manny the owner never returned my call.
I had VISA credit me for the refund and sent them the invoice he had provided to me and then he FALSIFIED the invoice to his bank (HE LITERALLY CHANGED THE AMOUNTS ON HIS NEW INVOICE TO ADD UP TO WHAT HE CHARGED ON MY VISA) and was able to get the refund reversed.
I will be reporting them to BBB.
Several attempts to contact the owner Manny again and no returned call and no refund.
DO NOT USE THEM
THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY!
Professional Tile Install – We had about 800 square feet of ceramic tile installed, and Perfect Floors did an awesome job. Chad took detailed measurement and emailed me a very competitive quote and a detailed list of what we needed to buy. He was very responsive on email as we scheduled the install and coordinated delivery. Alfonso and his assistant were courteous and respectful of our family...always sweet to the baby and our dog. :) They showed up when they said they would, they worked long hours to get the job done without rushing, and always cleaned up after themselves each day. They had to demo carpet, tile and hardwood floors and it was a tough job, but they took their time and did it right. I highly recommend Perfect Floors if you need tile installed!
Very happy with our floors – We used these guys two years ago for our wood floor installation, and I've been in love with my floors ever since. It was an extremely professional, beautiful job. Very attentive to the little details.
Last week we used them again for a bathroom tile install. After some initial mishaps, the owner sent a new crew and supervised the work himself. He made sure the job was done right before he left, and that we were happy.
I'm certain we'll use them again in the future.
AWFUL EXPERIENCE – I cannot believe the nerve of this company. I scheduled Perfect Floors and regrettably had to cancel the same day. They had already run my card for $1,195 and I told the lady I spoke with to just void the charge. I signed no documents, agreements, policies, cancellation notices, etc but received a barrage of emails from Chad asking why I was canceling and that they do not "do" refunds. After several email exchanges AND me outlining that I was under no contract or agreement with them Chad agreed to refund my card the following morning. After not receiving my credit in the allotted time I called and filed a complaint with the BBB. Chad, in his reply, calls me impatient and said the Office Manager "overlooked" the credit. I don't understand how I can be impatient when they did not honor their agreement to run the credit. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK, just hope you don't ever have to get a credit or have problems because they obviously have no customer service or merit behind their name.
helpful and professional – We have to do renovations/remodeling in our master bathroom and our contractor recommended Perfect Floors to us. There were several delays due to insurance claims, but Manning was very patient in helping us. He's always prompt to return calls and very responsive to all our requests. His crews were very professional and courteous. Our remodeling project was done to our satisfaction and we would recommend Perfect Floors to you without reservations. If Manning was in charge, you are in good hands!
Huge Job Well Done!!! – Let me start off by saying, we searched long and hard for the right people to come into our home because we are quite particular and are keen on the details. According to Manny, I am at the top of this list for being the most difficult customer to date, but, like Manny always is, he could not have been nicer about it.
In total, they were an all day, every day part of our lives for a month, and I am SO glad that we chose them. We had a large job done, from the carpets and old tile stripped and new wood and porcelain floors put in the whole house to demo'ing mud sets tiles in 2 bathrooms and re-tiling them both to perfection. In addition, they installed toilets, pet doors, backsplash, and a lot of other little things.
Chad is the sales person who we originally dealt with who was very prompt, straight forward with costs that were very clear, as well as competitive. Manny then comes in and oversees his guys during the length of the job and he is really awesome. He is extremely responsive (I can't count the number of times I texted, emailed, and/or called and he was always there to answer), very nice and understanding, and just an all around good guy with a positive attitude. He and his crew are so hard working. I would say the 2 stars of his crew are Alfonso, who does tile work, and Carlos, who lays wood floors. The jobs that those 2 guys did were really amazing and we have people, from professionals in the construction trade to friends and family, comment all the time on their work. They too were really good guys and I would not have anyone else do my tile or wood for me other than them.
The one negative part of this experience was the painter, who is NOT part of Perfect Floors, but a subcontractor. While he is a great texturer, time is not taken to paint carefully, and he does not listen to direction from Manny (which you have to do b/c he does not speak English), but does as he wants. So, if you need texturing done and you are very specific, he might be ok, but I would not recommend him.
Overall though, my experience with Perfect Floors was a great one and the results show it! They really cared, they listened to all my difficult requests and concerns. They changed something immediately when I did not like it, and they did little things here and there that do not go unnoticed. A very small example, Manny came over one day for a walkthrough and my family and I were installing the refrigerator and Manny was down on his hands and knees helping out, which he totally did not have to do. I would tell anyone reading this that it would be a mistake if you did not use Perfect Floors for your home.
My few recommendations to anyone going through a renovation in their home, whether you use Perfect Floors or not, are
1) to email punch lists of things that you want done/changed/fixed for the workers to cross off - do this continually
2) mark and write down those things as you notice them b/c there are so many you will not remember if you don't do it then and there
3)have daily or every other day walkthroughs at the end of the day with the same person that oversee the crew.
Quality Work – PF just finished a hardwood installation job at our new house. Removal of Saltillo, Pergo and Carpet / raising a sunken room by 6".
Bidding / Quote process was smooth, Chad was very friendly and had answers to all of our questions.
Work could not start on time as our closing was delayed, the PF team was fully willing to work with us and even moved around other jobs to accommodate our schedule. The delayed start also required us to rush the install - again the PF team did what they needed to do to get the job done on time.
We actually rushed them out of the house on the last day due to our furniture getting moved in. They had to come back few days later to finish the minor detail work that comes with all large jobs.
At the end of the day, the floor looks fantastic. Any little issue we found was taken care of with a smile - even late in the evening. Chad and Manny were great. I will recommend them.
Doesn't live up to its name – Everyone was very friendly in the bidding process and the bid came in as I expected. I went with PF because they were the preferred contractor where I bought my floors.
They came when they were supposed to which was good and they were polite. The wood floor guy was really trying to do a good job. The floors looked great.
After the tile was set, we realized the next day that tiles in the kitchen were wobbly and many sounded hollow as well as some in the bathroom. Called and they sent the guys to come out and replace 7 tiles in the kitchen and a few in the bathroom.
Unfortunately, we still had several hollow sounding tiles afterwards. I was pushed for payment even though I wasn't thoroughly satisfied. Like a fool I paid. When we complained about the hollow tiles we were told that the tiles are cupped and they just do that. I explored on the internet and could not find anything that sounded like hollow tiles were ok. I also wasn't informed at the store where I purchased the tiles. In my experience, hollow tiles will eventually crack. We were told that if in a year they cracked, they would replace them. Thanks.
I have several completely hollow tiles in my kitchen and bathroom and the wood floor has a few places where the glue did not set so it has hollow spots too.
Overally my floors from Perfect Floors are not perfect and they did not seem concerned about making me happy. I'm sure they have many satisfiend customers, but I fear I instead of having long lasting floors I will be replacing them much sooner than needed due to the installation.
Absolutely beautiful wood floors! – I don't know who wrote those previous reviews thank heavens I didn't see them because I had the exact opposite results. My freind just had Perfect Floors do her floors and I went and saw them because I wanted to install wood floors and thought hers were flawless and I'm considered a very picky person. I couldn't have been happier. Chad who came and measured was very professional and gave me a computerized bid and left nothing out. I did not want to see add ons and there weren't. They came on time and did an absolutely beautiful job. I love my floors, there were no corrections to the floor itself, one of the T-moldings needed to be reglued I called on Monday and they were here today to fix it. I couldn't be happier and if you want to see my floor ask Chad to bring you by, I'd be glad to show it off.
Job was done correctly – I am the person who hired the contractor for the previous comment. I do not agree with the contractors comments. Perfect Floors install the floor as directed and it looks beautiful. I have had two warrenty items and Perfect Floors is addressing these issues without any problems. I would recommend Perfect Floors.
