Best Daniel's. – Out of all three this one is the best. It is much smaller, more intimate and not as noisy as the others. Went there twice, loved it both times. Will go there again. By the way, to those who complain: things can happen, even at the best places, if you are not happy about something resolve it right away with the manager. They'll try everything they can to satisfy your needs, unless you act like a spoiled jerk. I am taking about restaurants in general.
big dissapointment – I went to Daniels on Lake Washington to treat a friend to a birthday dinner. The view was great. At the start we told our server we would have drinks and an appetizer, and to hold our dinner order. He brought the dinner entrees during our first round of drinks before our salads. When i told him we weren't ready for them, he said "Oh I'll just keep em warm for u. Just what I wanted, stale food kept warm for $100 a person. He never brought the wine i ordered and basically provided the worst service i have had in any restaurant in memory. The food was average. I told the host of our problems he just shrugged. A long letter to corporate was un answered. I will never go back and have told everyone of my experience.
Thumps up – Best filet mignon I've had. My friends and I ordered every dessert and passed it around. They were all good but the chocolate cake was the winner! Service was great too. It was at night so we couldn't really appreciate the view of the water but overall we were all pleased and very full. Price was reasonable to this level of dining.
Totally disagree – Wow, I can't believe they came in second. I wouldn't even go back for seconds. I've been to Daniel's once and was not impressed. Their steak wasn't the best, nor was the rest of the meal. The service and everything else was OK, but if the steaks not great, what's the point in going to a steakhouse.
Eastside Wonder – I have always enjoyed Daniel's Broiler, it is a great place to meet friends and have a wonderful dinner with a great view and atmosphere. The food is always great!
Super Delish! – They absolutley have the best steak in town! The service could be helped......A LOT! I have been going there for years and it used to be a much better place to dine than it is now, but thank goodness for that delicious steak! If if were left to the service, they'd surely be out of business!
Really bad! – Four of us went to dinner at the Bellevue location. One of the people said the last time they ate at Daniel's they over cooked the steak but was willing to try it again. Two had Filet Mignon. They were both burnt on the outside. I ordered the salmon. I could only eat a few bites of the salmon...it was nasty. Very, very fishy. The worst piece of fish I've ever eaten...seriously. I told them that it was a bad piece of fish because I didn't want them to serve it to anyone else. No one else spoke up. Either way, that was our last dining experience at Daniel's.
Daniel is a Good Friend – Have a drink at the Met if you must, some like old brick buildings. If you don't want to eat a brick, go to Daniel's. Daniel's Broiler has never failed to offer a world class Steak experience. When ever I'm in need of a good steak house for guests or clients, I go to Daniel's and know I will get the best in town. The view, staff, surroundings and of course the food are all tops in the city. It's like being in Chicago with a great view! Keep up the good work Daniel's Broiler.
tandelizing experience – In my opinion the steaks here are the best I've ever had. It is definitely better than Ruth Chris, and is up there with Jak's. They gave the best service I've had in a long while with a comfy private booth away from the crowd of people. Very romantic atmosphere and I love the selection. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants good steak.
2ND BEST ON THIS LIST, BUT!? – 4TH PLACE MAYBE!! WHERE IS CANLIS AND 21 CENTRAL/ GET SERIOUS! NO OFFENSE DANIELS IS GOOD, BUT THESE AND THE MET ARE WAY BETTER! DANIELS IS TOP 2 ON THE REST OF THE LIST
