The staff at the days inn is extremely attentive to any of your needs. We are working in the area, and stay there each week because of the service, and the rooms are clean and comfortable.
I have to do overnight business in College Station a lot - so I stay here a lot.
Like 100 times a year - which most people would call a lot.
Being in a town that often gives you a good idea of what places are good and what places aren't.
This is my constant "go back to" hotel.
I have stayed in much much worse places in town - and have paid both less money and more money for the dubious privilege.
So what do you get for your money here?
a) The place is basically and reliably clean.
b) The internet service works and works well - a big deal for me whose work absolutely requires email.
c) Basically solid repair.
If there are any issues with a) b) or c) things get fixed FAST.
that matters. so if you have a gripe, it is a one night gripe and not a whole stay gripe.
They redecorate fairly frequently; beds are nice and firm; the TVs are flat screen TVs.
there is a refrigerator in every room. (unlike many other college station establishments - including some of the expensive places.) 100 degree days makes you happy to have your own choice of cold drinks in the room.
the people who work there are really nice.
and the people who stay there are not problematic.
(plain old working class folks - no party hardy stereo blasting animals - no furtive couples or dubious types.)
i feel pretty secure in the parking lot and in the room.
and the price is right.
thumbs up - definitely.
If you plan to visit College Station, Texas, you must stay at the Days Inn on Texas Ave. You will be glad you visited. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, and the Continental breakfast is terrific. Most of all, customer service exceeds expectations. The second time that we stayed at Days Inn, the manager, Jay, welcomed us back, and asked about my well being regarding a comment that I made during my first visit. When my townhome apartment was not ready as promised on a very hot day, Jay allowed us to remain in the comfort of our room beyond the check-out time at no extra charge. How great is that???
Days Inn is like a home away from home. I have come to College Station with my crew every week to work for over 3 months. We are very happy with our stays. Checkins are simple, easy and quick. Rooms are always clean. Everything in the room works. The breakfast is great. We are able to cook our dinner everyday on the grill they provide. The staff is always friendly and treat us very well. We have had no problems with our stay in all the time we have stayed there.
The room was very clean and comfortable. i had a fantastic nights sleep in the comfortable mattress. Front desk was always really nice and so was housekeeping staff.Delicious breakfast and good variety. I always will stay here when I come visit my daughter.
I do not usually comment or write reviews on hotel accommodations. However, after my last hotel stay I found myself compelled to comment on the experience. My sales team recently stayed at the Days Inn located in College Station, Texas. We rented 10 rooms and stayed for a period of 2 weeks. Typically finding a reasonably price place and courteous hotel personnel can be very difficult.
Really very nice & clean hotel, in the city center, close to shopping points & restaurants, very helpful staff, special thank to Eileen huey who was vey helpful & kind I strongly advise you to book it without hesitation, really very nice experience.
We were only in CS a couple nights, and not in the room very long each day - so it was fine for what we needed. We didn't need fancy - just a clean, nice place to sleep. No complaints - except for the people next door who wanted to party ALL NIGHT on the balcony/walkway. The front desk was responsive by calling the police.
I called in the reservation for my cousin visiting me in College-Station. When he arrived my credit card was declined. I gave the wrong card that had been hacked at the holiday season. You...still gave him a room and I took care of the problem. Yes, you are good people. Thank You. You guys are a winner. No more Marriott Courtyard!!!!!
