I've been going to Jeff for over 20 years and he just gets better. Has all the newest equipment to make you procedure as painless as possible. All the staff is very good and knowledgeable. Would recommend to anyone. My daughter had her braces done here when she was young preventing a very bad inherited overbite. I recently had an emergency tooth issue way out of town and the advice I got from that out of town dentist was totally wrong and the only good thing he did was prescribe penicillin until Jeff could fix the real problem. Definitely the best.
Absolutely *OUTSTANDING* – Of all the dentists I've seen in 50+ years of cleanings, fillings & every other damn thing, Jeff has some of the most gentle hands I've ever had stuffed in my mouth. His pricing is reasonable, his service superior and I am so grateful he was referred to us when we moved to the area. Both he and his staff are warm, professional and humorous. I have to think the negative feedback was meant for a different practitioner or was 100% pure sour grape bovine manure.
Still go there and I live an hour away! – I am really surprised by the other reviews. There are actually two dentists in Newmarket, NH and they are both on Main St. so I am not sure if someone mixed them up or if they were different owners at the time. The office is the downstairs of the owners house which gives it a great atmosphere for a dentist anyway. My dentist was extremely nice, everyone there was. They work late which is great because I drive all the way from Nashua to still go there. I have been through a few dentists with horrible experiences which is why I was so excited when I found one I liked.
I recommend avoiding this place at all costs!!! – We are new to Newmarket, and started going to this dentist office as it was the only one in town. Here's what happened:
1) On our first visit, our 4 year old son, who was already nervous, had a cleaning and at the end the receptionist said he could pick a toy out of the basket. He couldn't decide so she said he could have two. Then the dentist came by, and my son was excited and told him that he got two toys. In a sharp, non-friendly tone he told him he was only supposed to have one. A little intimidated, my son said the lady said he could take two. So, TO MY 4 YEAR OLD SON, he snaps "Well, she can just buy the toys herself next time!". My son started balling, and the dentist just walked away.
2) My wife wanted to never go back, but did because he had found a couple of cavities to fill. She was surprised that he only took about 20 minutes to do two cavities, and, unsurprisingly, they were painful and bothering her a few days later. So she scheduled a follow up appointment, and on the day of the appt. something came up so she cancelled, and on our next bill there was a cancellation fee of $30!. Now, of course they didn't tell us this when she cancelled, but when she called, we were informed it was in the fine print of the financial contract they have you sign as a new patient.
So here you have a small town, unprofessional, scheming tightwad dentist. After checking with our neighbors in the town (which we should have done first) we found he has a bad reputation in the town, and everyone else has found it worth making the drive to a dentist in a nearby town. And now, we do to!
