Amy is awesome! She does a spectacular job each time i visit the shop, she is very professional and very talented. I have been going to her for over a year and have not had any problem, questions or not happy with the service.
Hello all! I have an update for you guys about Amy, she no longer works at B&T she works next door at PRINCESS which is right next door, she still does nails and does the best eye brows ever!!!
Great place to get your nail & eyebrows done, however would not at all recommend them for hair services.
This was by far the WORST hair salon experience I have ever experienced in my life. I received better results in a hair School. SERIOUSLY!! I went there for a relaxer for my Daughter & a conditioning treatment for Myself.
Hakeem was our hairdresser he did an alright job on my daughter's hair, however it was nothing that I couldn't have done myself. He used a box relaxer (Cream of Nature) and charged $70 :(
On my hair instead of a conditioning treatment he recommended a relaxer, a trim & a rinse ( to so call coat my hair). He used a box relaxer on my hair also, I came in with chin length hair that was just cut on May 7th my ends weren't bad...I left with hair that is now above my ears and much dryer than when I came in. To add insult to injury he burned me 4 times while curling my hair & stained my shirt with hair rinse.
I paid $70 for my hair too :(
That was my 1st and my last time there.
Skilled employees - but not enough of them – I made an appointment for the first time here a week in advance for myself and my 2 nieces to have both a manicure and a pedicure. The salon itself is very nice. The help was very nice and certainly very skilled. We we all 3 happy with our maicures and pedicures. My biggest issue was we had an appointment - but we were left sitting and waiting (over and over again) while they dealt with walk-ins. My niece was not down until nearly 40 minutes after myself and her daughter because she was left sitting mid manicure while the lady caring for her got up and took care of two walk-ins - one for an eyebrow wax and another for a pedicure. I feel that is a HUGE no-no. If I am in there on appointment - I don't want to be left waiting around for others who just walked in and are getting service on my time. They haven't been open very long, so I will certainly try them again in the future, but if the same thing happens again I'll be going elsewhere. It's a shame as the salon is nice, the price is moderate and the skills are very good.
