Worst Food ever – One of the worst restaurants in the area. It is very dishonest. It uses the cheapest and half-rotten ingredients to fool customers. They use a lot of soy sauce and other flavorings to cover the unpleasant tastes. One of my friends who know the chef there told me that they buy leftover produce and meat that couldn't be sold at asian supermarkets. Although the food looks decent, most of them may pose serious threats to your health. She also told me that they keep the frying oil for weeks before they change it for fresh oil. If you don't want to get sick, don't go there to eat. Seriously.

Best Service, Tasty Food, Great Prices... – OK, this is the first time I've written a review about a restaurant on the web, but I have to write something after reading a bad review about one of our favorite restaurants. I love the food and service at Grand Peking in Redmond. I have never found the food to be anything but fresh, flavorful, and fully satisfying. Of course it is not meant to be one of the fancy dinner restaurants in town, but if you are craving good old American Chinese Food, this restaurant fits the bill. And the staff is so friendly and cheerful, it is a joy to eat at Grand Peking. In fact, I think I'm going to go get some take out right now... Yummy... :)

Freindly staff, good atmosphere, WORST FOOD EVER – We had left home to try a new restaurant and following the GPS's convenient route towards a Japanese restaurant named "Kikuya" we found our way. As we walked towards the restaurant the hostess for the Grand Peking opened the door for us and since we were on an adventure we appreciated the hospitality and spontaneity. We were offered to sit any were we wanted and chose a booth in the corner of the crowded restaurant. We found that the amount of people eating was promising amid the pleasant aromas. We ordered the family style dinner for 2 and were promptly served by a friendly water and waitress the worst meal I have ever been served. The sweet and sour chicken resembled the customary sweet and sour chicken found throughout the Northwest's Chinese restaurants, but that is where it ended with wilted green peppers with some of the mold still lingering from the quick scraping it had received in the kitchen. The appetizer plate had a few millimeters of grease from the fried wonton and eggroll leaving them soggy. The pork fried rice had stalks of green onions that seemed to have softened from fermentation and were slimy to the touch. I did not eat much and neither did my wife, but our night out of shopping was cut short by the amount of food we did eat. This experience had the potential for success with the friendly hostess, helpful staff, but ended up being the worst eating experience of my life with food that seemed to have been taken from last week?s trash and reheated leaving me to wonder if I should visit a doctor afterward from the poison*ng we had received.
