Worst Customer Service Ever – They really don't even deserve 1 star. I called this company for a windshield replacement and was notified at a later time that the technician had injured himself and couldn't come. I called the company back to reschedule and to see if they could offer me a discount because I had waited all this time and could've gone with Safelite. Brian the manager was very rude and had no interest in assisting me. He then told me that he wouldn't send out someone who was injured and I told him I would never expect him to but I just wanted to get maybe $10 off the price since they weren't coming and by this time I couldn't have anyone else come. Brian was very rude and raised his voice to me on the phone. I was appalled at how he treated me. I was just simply asking for them to appreciate that I had waited on them all day and now I couldn't get my window replaced. Brian then raising his voice at me stated " well how bout this, why don't you call safelite and have them do it. I don't want your business." Then he hung up on me. Very rude and definitely lacking any customer service skills what so ever. I did call safelite and I was very pleased and NO ONE was rude to me!
Very pleased ! – Fantastic warranty- My windshield broke 10 months after Glass Doctor replaced it and all they charged me was $140 labor. They gave me a new $418 windshield for free.
Warranty... Yeah Right – Had my windshield replaced two weeks ago and the installer was great! Must've gotten a tiny little chip over the weekend and the entire windshield broke. I called to take advantage of the 12 month breakage warranty and they want to charge me $140 for labor! Outrageous. That's not a warranty, it's a joke. I'm not laughing and I think I'd rather pay a little more and give my business to someone else.
Bad experience.... – I called to get a quote to repair a broken insulated glass window. Due to their rudeness on the phone and lack of service, I called Kirkwood Glass and got a quote that was $60 cheaper. Thank goodness the Glass Doctor phone service was terrible.
The Glass Experts! – My window was smashed in the middle of the night...after calling a few glass places, Glass Doctor was the only one that would come to my house that morning and get my windshield replaced. They cleaned all the broken glass out of my car too! The tech as nice and efficient. He was finished before I could finish drying my hair!
They provided me with all the correct paperwork for my insurance agent and I am so pleased with the service I was given. I would highly recommend using the glass doctor!
GlassDoctorRules – Glass Doctor Rocks! They are nice, knowledgeable, and quick. I got my windshield replaced at my work after a chip spider-ed into a huge crack! The tech was extremely fast and the quality of his work was great. It was so convenient that they could come to my work. All I needed to do was sign on the dotted line and I was ready to go.
ILoveTheGlassDoctor – I woke up to my car vandalized and the back passenger window shattered all over the car floor. The Glass Doctor rescued my ruined morning with their friendly customer service and ridiculously quick replacement. The window looked better than ever with the finished product ready for me in no time. This is without a doubt the first thought to cross my mind the next time I have a window or windshield emergency- whether on site or in the shop.
stay away from this business – I called for repair to a home window, and was given a quote for my Andersen window. The day of the appointment, the man called and stated "not sure that they told you, but there is a $45 charge for an estimate, but you can put it towards your repair." Since I already knew the estimate, I agreed. When the worker came over, he looked at the window and immediately told me that he wouldn't repair it. He spent the rest of the time giving me phone numbers of people to call to repair it. Then of course charged me $45. Now, they KNEW the window dimensions, brand of window, etc. when I had first called, so then to come out and charge me when they would not repair it is insane. I also looked them up when the man left and the BBB gives them an "F". I am angry with myself for not doing my homework and out $45 of a rip off. By the way, the Kansas CIty number actually routes you to the actual business "kansas city glass doctor/harmon"- so you know.
Editorial Review – Nationwide glass repair chain offers full-service mobile windshield repair and replacement; commercial and residential glass available.
If it were possible to give a lower rating I would. – Terrible service. My windshield was cracked, they came and replaced it and I noticed there was a huge air leak when driving home that night. They have since come out 2 more times and it still doesn't fit properly and leaks. The last guy put tape on it! The manager of the shop is unreal. He will not give you a name or number of anyone else to complain to. I never received a single apology for the inconvenience or the fact that the car is still not fixed. I will have to go somewhere else to get this fixed properly. Be sure and check them out - 37 complaints in 24 months! Managers response to that "Can't please everybody"
