If some other company or person is going out of their way to write about me then I must be doing something right. It is terrible that someone would try to ruin someone else. Especially if they are not even a customer. I would like this person to write their exact experience and tell us what the store looks like on the inside... After he does that I will post pictures of the true interior of the store and see if he is correct.

This place is a chop shop for computers. The owner Daniel Perez is nothing more than a con artist. He get's you in the door with reasonable prices and does either one of two things 1) Makes up false problems and charges for them. 2) does nothing and gives you back your machine that does not work with out a refund.

Regards to the owners post to madcustomer9999 Daniel said he has all of these certifications and has many satisfied customers Then maybe someone can shed some light on why Bear Computer Repair a has a F rating on the better business Bureau web site. He has screwed over a lot of people. Daniel also said that people are lying about the service that they got because they want him to fail. It is very apparent that people are seeing his true colors a scam artist and a thief. If Daniel can't see what he is doing wrong he should not be in business. Daniel is failing for himself don't believe a word that this boy said he is just looking for people to feel sorry for him. Daniel also has all of his employees making reviews on various sites this being one of them to make him look good. BE WARE YOU ALL HAVE BEEN WARNED

This is the owner – Regarding madcustomer9999

I am the owner of the company. We never have charged over $300 for a computer fix. This is just another person who is lying and wants our company to fail like so many other computer companies. People know that I am only 26 and I admit that's young to own a store but people also know that I am the best. We average a lot of customers as you very well can see, but what is really disgusting is the fact that people lie frequently to not only hurt me, but the only passion that I have and that is this business. - Most of these reviews are just false. We have a very high customer retention rate and we are very proud of it. We have over 10 years worth of experience. We also have tech's that are certified in many different facets of the computer industry (Cisco, A+, Network + and the list goes on) I do not know what their impetus is for these lies, but it really hurts when we do such a good job for all the customers that we do have.

This company will continue to grow. All these false reviews just makes me want to grow this business stronger. It will.

Bear computer repair A very good service – Very good service from Bear Computer Repair! Very nice friendly service, and the people there are super nice and thoughtful. My daughter's computer needed to be fixed and the macstore told me to toss it, but Bear Computer Repair had a similar logicboard in stock and simply swapped it out. Her macbook was fixed in two days, and I thank them instrumentally for all of their help! Thx Bear Repair- All that you do for your clients is very much appreciated.

Awesome Service Great to work with – I don't know about anyone else, but I really think these guys are awesome. I don't know much about their staff, but I do know that they are great! I own a business with 2 Computers and a data server.

When my server went down they were here in a minute to fix it. Not only did they fix the server they also optimized both of my computers.

I have no complaints. I will recommend all of my clients to these people.

such a joke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! – Horrible. They stripped my computer of all it had. I brought my computer in since It would not turn on. They proceeded to tell me that it was a hardware issue inside the computer and would need to keep it for a couple weeks to see exactly what is wrong with it. I was told it needed a new video chip, and was impossible to replace without changing the main board. I proceeded to let them do the work, order the parts and everything. Next i was told that there were other parts needed to fit the board since mine did not fit in the new one. I went along with it and let them have it for a couple more weeks. After paying them up front, i was promised it was done in 2 weeks. I called in two weeks and was told that the parts havnent come in. I get a call in 2 additional more weeks and was given a bill of $365. I figured that was high, but i needed my information for my taxes on the computer. I get there, pay and receive my PC back. I get home and the computer doesnt turn on, so I brought it back. I brought it back and they went around back and tested to see if it worked. About 2 minutes later they brought it back up front and told me it works. I trust them and brought it back to my house figuring that it was an error over on my part. When i brought it home, still the same issue. It will not power up. Brought it back there, once again! Oh, by the way i'm almost 30 minutes away, i live next to waterbury. and this time they showed me that it works, i left a happy person. Got home, hooked it up, nothing! I scratched my head and wondered "WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG!". So, what i did was switch the power cables from my old computer, bang! powers right up like a champ! This made me wonder, my power cable was the issue the whole time. I looked into it further and found that my computer was never opened. This PC was previously my workstation from work and had a PADLOCK on the back so only the IT department at my job can open the case to the computer. I asked them what was replaced, and asked for receipts. I went in there calm and professional asking for answers and the person up front was stuttering and slurred his words when I caught him in a lie. From the second I walked in there I noticed something was horribly wrong with the place. They are skeevy people to work with. In conclusion, I paid over $350 to only find out that there was an issue with my power cable at home and that just needed to be replaced, they scammed me for money and i hope people read this. There was nothing done to my computer, they made me think I needed parts to come in when there were actually no parts ordered. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!

This is such a lie. I am the owner. Number one we don't charge that much. We would never charge over $300. Number two why would you come all the way from Waterbury when there is 10 computer places in between. Number three - this never happened. NEVER HAPPENED. I DO NOT HAVE ONE INVOICE OVER 200.00 who are you?

Maybe you're thinking of another computer shop - not us.

I own Shelton Pawn Shop in Connecticut. I have been dealing with Bear Repair to fix all the laptops that come in and I have never had a problem with them whatsoever.

They also have built me a web-site recently and it's really great working with them. Anytime someone drops off a computer with an issue I go to them with the problem and I have no issues getting it fixed.
