I was one of the people that paid my mortgage on time every month, but was under water. However, Mike Martin was able to save me $250 a month and a total of $7,500 in the first year by using the HARP program for my new 30 year conventional loan, even though my home appraised for much less than the loan. Mike was very knowledgable and professional. He worked very hard to get me the lowest rate possible and was able to answer all of my questions in the process. He also gave me suggestions, which I really needed, as I've never changed my mortgage in the 9 years that I've had it. Thanks Mike! I'd recommend you to all my friends and family.

I refinanced for 30 years at under 3.00% Steve Mitroka was very good and it didn't take too long to complete from start to finish. The only complaint I had was that my home appraisal cost was put on my debit card and the cash was taken out of my account even though my home appraised for more than enough to get the appraisal cost waived. To reverse that action took almost a week...I almost had several checks bounce . They had told me that they wouldn't take the money out unless the home didnt appraise high enough.

We refinanced with Shore Mortgage and Rachel Duggan. She gave us a great rate. It was a great experience all around. We are saving on our monthly payment. We would do it again if we had to.

great dealing with frank mabry. only afterword, corporate office cannot get things straight. changed payment(due to their miscalculation). fixed. now returned payment, not correct amount?

We worked with Mike Paliwoda at Shore Mortgage and had an excellent experience. We chose a 30 year fixed rate mortgage at a great rate. Mike made very good suggestions and saved us money. The mortgage process isn't easy but everyone at Shore was helpful and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them to friends and family.

I was denied financing with another loan company because my house was worth less than balance on mortgage so I thought that was it I will never be able to get a lower interest rate. A couple of weeks later I got a call from Mike at Shore Mortgage, whom I almost hung up on because I have received several other calls about loans and got nowhere, but he was persistent and he told me about a special program and "viola" I got a 25 year lower interest rate loan. I am very pleased and the loan closed in less then 3 weeks. I would definitely recommend Shore Mortgage & Mike.

DO NOT THRUST IN THOSE CROOKS. I had locked a very nice interested rate thru another Mortgage Company, when a crook from SHORE MARTGAGE (located at 770 S Adams Birmingham, MI. 48009) named Joseph D. Sheeran/Senior Loan Officer/ NMLS # 171399 (Toll free 800-760-3128 x5333 Cell 248-980-1354 Fax 248-594-6151) called me and promised that if I close the mortgage with him, I would have better interest rate and lower cost. Everything that I want to hear, right! No!! It was the worst mistake that I ever made. I never should be listened this crook. I applied for a remortgage, I appraised the house, and I transferred my home insurance from my current bank to them. Then, the nightmare started. Joe Sheeran started to postpone the closing date, stop to answer my phone calls, and then I find out that he NEVER LOCKED my interest rate. I could not believe that someone in this business would do some bad job like that! This is basic for a loan officer. Imagine for Mr. Senior Loan Officer/ NMLS # 171399. The SOB was playing with me. Finally, I succeed hold his boss (another crook) named Jillian Mantua (Direct Lending Manager NMLS# 28193), and I told her what happened and she ask me for proofs. So, I sent her over 50 emails that I exchanged with that crook, where he stated that my loan was locked and GFE (good faith estimate). She said, now you will be dealing direct with me, I would give you an even better deal. So much for that BS!! A week later she offered me an interested rate that was two points% above the marked average rate. I told her to shovel it in that place. Then, I told her that to give me the agreed upon interest rate that was in GFE or my money back, which I had spent to appraise my house. Took me two months and 5 phone calls per day, but I got it. So, I strongly recommend you to not do business with Shore Mortgage especially Joe Sheeran. They are unethical crooks that want take advantage of people.

Craigslist Job Board Abuse‎‎. I called the main office in Birmingham to let them know that they were breaking the rules when they placed eight identical job ads, in eight categories, on the same day, for "Top Ranking Loan Officers". The amount of indifference, and the treatment I received while doing them a favor, and letting them know that they were disregarding clear warnings to not do the same while posting a job ad was amazing. Despite four phone calls, and talking to four-six different people, and a warning that I would post a review too here, I was treated like I was nuts, and was told they did not care. If you are a current or future customer, please keep in mind that if they can't follow, or refuse to follow simple and clear instructions for a free website, and also feel like they are entitled to anything they want, well just imagine what they will do to you, especially when money is involved. Great experience with Shore Mortgage. Shore Mortgage is a quality lender with knowledgable and competent staff. My Loan Officer had been with the company over 5 years which speaks volumes about a company. They are the best FHA lender in Michigan by far with the most experience after the research my wife and I did. Thank you to Shore for a positive loan application and closing experience. I will use them in the future for my purchase or refinance needs.
