I arrived 10min before appointment, but they made me wait for about 90 min to see a doctor.
After the test, no one called back. Not able to get through to even talk to the assistants of Katherine O'Rourke.

I visited Blue Ridge Dermatology twice in the last month and the experience was very positive and professional. Every aspect, from the interaction with the front office personnel, to billing was very pleasant. All the office staff were very personable and friendly. Dr. Kendall Hash was EXTREMELY knowledgeable and easy to work with. She solved a problem that I had been suffering with for over a year and had been misdiagnosed by another dermatologist at a different practice. I was given an initial appointment quickly and had no problem getting a follow-up appointment for 2 weeks later. I would highly recommend this practice in general and Dr. Hash specifically. I had absolutely no problems here.
Negligent – Practitioner's negligence in needle-stick procedures required me to have bloodwork done at my own expense and trouble. Doctor, staff, and administration were unhelpful and unapologetic. This long-term patient and aesthetics customer will go elsewhere.
Worth waiting for – I made an appointment with this office and was originally not to happy with the process. Getting an appointment took forever and the girl I spoke to, while cordial, was somewhat lackadaisical.
My appointment was at 10:30, and I arrived on time but was greeted curtly by the receptionist. I wasn't called back until 10:50 for my appointment. The nurse that eventually called me back and was very friendly and apologetic about the delay, which was appreciated.
When Dr. O'Rourke finally came in, I had waitied almost 45 minutes, and I was a little upset. The doctor was understanding of this and apologized. She then did my exam which was extremely thorough. I had several biopsies, and was nervous, but the doctor and nurse both explained things to my satisfaction.
I received a call about a week later with my results, basal cell cancer. I was quite alarmed but Carel put me at ease. She explained what it was and went over my options and answered all of my questions, even when I had to call her twice.
I highly recommend Dr. Orourke. She is worth the wait and her staff is great as well.
