Very professional happy with matt and Roger. Great service! Thank you both.
BE CAREFUL!!! THESE GUYS WILL CON YOU!!!
After THREE purchases with this dealer, we are disgusted to find out that the Finance Division is willing to blatantly lie on their contracts to make money for themselves and only themselves. Recently we traded a beautiful 2012 Dodge 2500 for a 2013 Dodge 1500. During our visit at Brandon Dodge on 09/02/2013 we originally signed our contract being promised that we had everything lined up correctly. We received a call ON 09/12/13 from Brandon Dodge asking us to come down and sign a new contract as they had found us a "Better Deal", so they claimed. We happily sat down to sign the paperwork and when we got to the extended warranty discussion we were told and I quote "The bank will only do this deal if you take the warranty". Of course it was the top of the line $4000 warranty... Our original contract did not include a warranty, however it was made clear to accept this contract we had no option but to accept the warranty with it, oh and we are not allowed to cancel the warranty- it can be transferred at time of sale.... Being that we had done business with them several times we elected to trust them. LITTLE DID I KNOW THAT TERRANCE (the Finance Director) WAS LYING TO US!!!
Recently the financing bank Partner Colorado CU called to introduce themselves to us and thank us for our business. When the banker asked us if we would like to put an extended warranty on the vehicle, you can only imagine how surprised I was to find out that the bank was not aware of the situation...
We have spent the last two weeks trying to get Brandon Dodge to fix this unacceptable situation. They not only refuse to do anything, they actually tried to get us to purchase a more expensive vehicle by promising to make it up in the sale. Our complaint was regarding the warranty forced upon us, not my truck. As clearly we did not want the warranty and made sure to be very clear of this during the first negation as the warrenty was NOT ON THE ORIGINAL CONTRACT, we decided to contact the warranty company directly to see if they would cancel the contract. In speaking with the warranty company this warranty is 100% cancelable but is at the "Dealers Discursion and must be canceled by the dealer themselves.
Reality to this is that BRANDON DODGE FORCED THE WARRANTY UPON US AS A BAIT AND SWITCH TACTIC AND ARE 100% ELECTING TO PUT US THROUGH THIS NIGHTMARE! THEY MADE THEIR MONEY AND IT'S COSTING US $4000!!!!
I personally own an Insurance and Financial firm. I cannot believe that claims to respect their clients and truly appreciates their clients would elect to do this. This practice and this situation is unacceptable! PLEASE, PLEASE, BUYER BE WARE! We did THREE deals with this dealership. We STUPIDLY TRUSTED they were there to help us and guide us through the financing portion of this process. We have never purchased a NON-Cancelable warranty, nor have we ever re-done our financing paperwork. All of this was at the Dealers request- NOT OURS. We trusted what we were told, and well this is how Brandon Dodge feels their client's deserve to be treated...
YOU WILL PAY A HEFTY PRICE FOR DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM! PLEASE GET A SECOND OPINION AND CALL THE BANK BEFORE YOU SIGN ANYTHING WITH THEM- YOU WILL THANK YOURSELF LATER :-)
On another note- Our Financing CU is doing everything they can to help us fix this situation- including offering for us to get out of this deal and into a better loan as an apology for the nightmare Brandon Dodge is putting us through. They too have tried to speak to Brandon Dodge and were shocked to see the way we were being treated. This CU is standing by us as their clients and I am TRULY THANKFUL to have them as our personal bankers. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND PARTNER COLORADO CREDIT UNION!!!! They are the definition of Interiority!
I want to thank Brandon Dodge for their great service! I found the perfect car for my son as a graduation gift and got a discount from their website too. It's amazing! They have what I was looking for and even the pre-owned cars are all in good condition. Thank you again!
I purchased a new Durango in July of 2011 from Brandon Dodge. Although I love the vehicle, I still have a bad taste in my mouth from the sales and delivery experience. I agree with the previous negative comments. I will not do business there again.
Bought 2 new cars on April 22.
It has been my experience that if you have a problem with a new vehicle purchase Brandon Dodge is dismissive rather than helpful. They said that they would return my call... they did not. I was told ...that they would help solve my problem...they did not. I wish they simply had the stones to just tell me they would not help me, but instead they were deceitful, duplicitous, and circumlocute. ... When I complained to the BBB, they responded with half truths and called me a liar. It is my opinion that this dealership lacks integrity. If integrity is important to you when making a vehicle purchase or vehicle service decision, I would suggest you consider your alternitives. Specifically here is my story... Bought two new cars, one 2012 Dodge Caravan, one 2012 Dodge Journey. Paid full MSRP minus dealer incentives on both. They said I did not pay full msrp, but I have the receipts showing that I was duped on this too! Turned out the Journey was not new as described but was used (4,300 miles on it) and had significant damage, dented bumper, paint issues, chipped winshield. â?¦ When they first tried to fix the damage they made it worse. There was Paint overspray all over the windshield, lights, and hood. The repair itself was very poor. When I approached the manager Mr. Josh Welsh, he made light of the situation and at first told me that I had "already accepted delivery". My experience at this time with Josh was antagonistic at best. Fearing other undisclosed issues I requested a new car instead of the used car I was delivered and was told noâ?¦too badâ?¦ you signed the dealâ?¦ They did eventually fix the damage, but I still have a used car at a new car price. Brandon Dodge will say and it is trueâ?¦ that during the paperwork process I did miss the fact the car was used. Understand that this fact was NEVER disclosed to me during the buying process. Also on the lot, the car had a NEW window sticker. Ask yourself, would you think to check the mileage on a â??NEWâ?? vehicle? I didnâ??t eitherâ?¦ Since bringing this to Brandon Dodges attention they have made promises to work with me on remediation that were not kept, they will not return my phone calls and generally have been duplicit in their dealings with me and my family. I contacted Dodge corporate, and they cannot help me because it is a dealership issue. They only deal with vehicle quality issues. I surmise that they are OK with these types of sales tactics. These two vehicles are my 5 and 6th Dodge purchases. On a side note... I love the Grand Caravan and Love the Journey... Good cars, but I won't buy another Dodge.
Do not patronize Brandon Dodge! – When I arrived at Brandon Dodge, I told my salesperson, Roger, and the used car sales manager that I had two needs: (1) I needed something inexpensive, and (2) I needed something that would last me through grad school (at least two years).
Roger and the used car sales manager talked me into looking at a 2005 Jeep Liberty with 127,000 miles, with the promise that they would sell it to me for $5000 plus my Camry, which included taxes. The used car sales manager also said that it would come with a warranty. I told them I had to think about it. The Blue Book said that the vehicle was worth $9500, so I returned to Brandon Dodge.
Roger got called away to talk to a customer. A new sales manager came up and said that since Roger was busy with the customer, he would be working with me for a while. He presented me with a piece of paper saying that the price of the car was $5999. I told him that the other sales manager had promised me a price of $5000. He said that the extra $1000 was for the fees and taxes. I told him that I would buy the car for $5500, plus a new windshield, even though the original price I had been quoted was $5000 (which was to include taxes and a warranty). I also asked him about a warranty, and he said that the car would be sold "as-is." I said that I didn't want to get the car off the lot and take it to my mechanic and find out that something was terribly wrong with it, and the sales manager said "We aren't that kind of dealership."
After an hour of waiting for my windshield to be replaced in Brandon Dodge's waiting room, Roger came to tell me that the shop at the dealership was already closed, and didn't open again until Monday. I was supposed to pick up the Jeep on Monday, but Roger told me that the part wasn't in yet, so I had to pick it up on Tuesday. Tuesday was Roger's day off, but he told me that I "had a friend in the car business" and he would come in so that I could pick up my Jeep.
On Tuesday, I picked up my Jeep and signed my Camry over to Brandon Dodge. I drove the Jeep home. Ten minutes later, the car wouldn't start. I tried several times and it still wouldn't start. I had the maintenance guy in our building bring out the car jumper and he tried to jump the car. Unfortunately, we discovered that the problem was not the battery. I called Roger and left him a voicemail, but he never called back. Then I called Brandon Dodge and talked to a sales manager named Jeff Miller. Jeff said he would call me back.
An hour and a half later, I still hadn't heard from Jeff, and I went outside to try to start my Jeep again. Miraculously, it started, and I drove it directly to my trusted (AAA and BBB approved) auto shop. Once it got to the shop, it wouldn't start again.
The owner of the shop called Brandon Dodge himself. He spoke to the repair shop first and asked if they had replaced the fuel pump. They said that they had replaced it, but they had taken it to a Mitsubishi dealership to have the fuel pump replaced (why they wouldn't just replace it in their own auto shop is beyond me). The owner of the shop then asked to speak to Jeff Miller, but Jeff wouldn't talk to him and said that he would call me.
Jeff Miller never called me back (and I never heard from Roger again). A sales manager named Ron Hood called me and left a voicemail saying that the car was sold "as-is" and that since there was no implied warranty they "cannot honor any repair". He said I could call him on Thursday if I would like and left his phone number.
My Jeep is currently at the shop, and they have discovered that it not only needs its fuel pump replaced but also needs its fuel line and tires replaced. I cannot believe that Brandon Dodge would sell me a car that needed $1400 in repairs when I told them that I was a student who knew nothing about cars and needed something functional and inexpensive. I trusted them and I shouldn’t have.
