Called today to set up an appointment. I had a few preliminary questions. The receptionist wouldn't transfer me to a nurse. Was incredibly rude. It's rare I experience staff with this little regard for potential patients, her tone of voice was incredibly lacking in any type of professionalism or care. As a result, I did not schedule even a consultation with the dr like I had planned. Ridiculous service.
CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE - I called to set up a consultation. The woman on the telephone could not handle simple questions. She wanted to book me for an initial consultation four weeks out for potential botox or restylane injections (I found them using the search term "restylane" but she told me they don't do those). She gave me a 15-minute slot on the calendar but said to expect to be there around an hour. I asked her what the rest of the time of the appointment would be for. She kept repeating this mantra as if she did not know, that most people are told to expect their first visit to be around an hour. I kept asking her how that works since she gave me a 15-minute slot. She kept repeating "most people are told...." mantra. There were more instances where she just could not seem to answer simple questions, that had to do with their office policies and procedures in genera. I asked to speak with someone else and got Kelly. I tried to tell her the problems I was having getting some simple questions answered and Kelly interrupted me twice rudely and said, "How can I help you?" She told me she was not interested in my problems (she said this!!) and that she felt the other woman had done fine to answer my questions. I felt that if I could not even get straight answers at this beginning level, something is really wrong with the staff there. They were not very bright, not good at basic communication skills, or downright rude. I was horrified within a few minutes of trying to speak with them and it only got worse. Be careful! If the staff members are this bad, the people running the show can’t be much better.
This was my first visit to the clinic. I had some red spots on my chest and neck which turned out to be cherry angiomas(I had to google to find the correct spelling). I had about 10-12 of them and the doctor treated most of them without charging me as a courtesy. I was pleasantly surprised when i received my bill. I had to wait 15 minutes for the doctor to come in to my room but that was ok. I wait longer at the bank.
Do not go here! I went to them for about 2 and a half years for acne. The dr i had was always very very quick when I had an appt. Like literally spent less than 5 minutes with me. He always prescribed me the same medications that would work somewhat but never all the way. Eventually the antibiotics have stopped working all together. My acne is not better and I feel the dr just prescribed me a generic solution. He didn't ask me very many questions about my skin, and when I've told him it is not getting better (which he should be able to see) he would just give me the same prescriptions.. I am officially never going back there after they charged me for not showing up to an appt when I had changed my phone number and moved and had just forgotten. The billing lady was not understanding and was very curt and rude to me on the phone. I will find a new dermatologist and will never be back here.
I would not recommend this office to anybody.... but if you DO go there be sure to question EVERY single move the doctor makes and whether or not it will cost you any money. Apparently a $60 copay doesn't cover much of anything except getting to talk to the doctor for 5-10 minutes. I was very disappointed with the customer service and their lack of concern for customer satisfaction.
Go somewhere else!!! I know I will.
Great service – Dr. Brimhall is great! Listens to you and makes you feel very comfortable.
