Fantastic experience! – Stuart and his team “get” customer service *and* they really know audio. When Stuart and I first began speaking about my interest in adding a turntable to my system, he graciously offered to come to my home to see my current system and to understand my goals. Then he crafted a comprehensive plan and proposal to get me to my desired state. We agreed to proceed and then he sent Dave. Dave set up the system beautifully, quickly and all the while giving me great insights into audio. He had some creative ideas for how to solve some of the challenges with my listening room. In the end, I have a system I am delighted with and the process of getting here was quick, painless and actually fun. These guys are a class act- no other dealer in the NYC area come close.
PERFECTION - Great Service and Products – I've used Stuarts Audio several times. The end results are nothing short of spectacular and I highly recommend them. I used them for indoor and outdoor speakers as well as full stereo/receiver/tv installation. The installations were perfect and everyone we interacted with was extremely professional and courteous. Call and ask for Jim - he knows everything there is about the equipment and will make sure you get exactly what you need.

I just want to thank you for a wonderful experince I had working with you and your team. I am extrememly happy that I followed your recommendations. Even though I had many questions your recommendation were absolutely the best for me and my room and what I wanted with my home theatre. Everything went as promised with no delays or issues. Your team of Scott and Edgar were awesome! The did a great job in the install and seting everything up. They cleaned up everything and you would not be able to tell that it was just installed yesterday. They took the time to explain what they were doing and how things worked.
To say I was impressed with the final product is a major understatemet! The sound and picture were fantastic. As for the 3D it was as good if not better than the movies. My trepdiation in going into 3D was a waste of time. My wife and son, my toughest critics could not belive the final result.
So thank you for creating a home theatre experince that I have wanted for a long time.
Honesty and Integrity They are tops!!!! – After a mixed up Ebay Deal . Stuart said they had another similar Item and well after dealing with them i felt compelled to write a review. Phone conversations all handled very professionally and all emails promptly answered. I wish i lived closer and i would be a regular customer. I have bought lots of high end equipment and have never experienced service and attention to detail like this anywhere. The packing job they did ranks with the best. I would not be writing this if i did not feel they need high acclaim. Thanks for the great service! Roger
Excellent High End Equipment – I am a musician and audio engineer. Without going into details, they understood the subleties of the differences in sound of the various audio equipment they have to the point that I was able to make the proper choice for myself weighing audio quality, audio characteristics and cost.
I was in there the other day looking for a high end HD TV. We compared the equipment I have to the specs of the TVs and what my viewing requiements are. Based on their recommendation, I can save a grand on the TV by integrating it into my stereo (from them). Very helpful.
Overall, I would not recommend this place – I had a difficult time buying stuff at Stuarts. When I went to the store, they convinced to buy the more expensive equipment. Later, in phone conversations arranging for a time for them to come over, they convinced me to buy little “extras” that I discovered were not needed.
The guys were fine when they came over to set things up, until they noticed the time and said that they had to run. So they very quickly finished up, not doing everything and left me with a small mess. But they also left without telling me how to turn on everything. Phone calls were not returned quickly, or even helpfully. They obviously had no intention of coming back over. In fact, I was told that unless I bought something else, they would not come back. I read the instruction books and with a friend set everything up and took the extras (wiring, battery backup) out.
My friends who went to Best Buy and other local stores had a better and easier time, spent less money, and have stuff at least as good as mine.

All good here – We didn't go to the showroom, someone came to us. Made a number of recommendations, including suggestions on ways to cut costs by keeping some components we had. Installations guys were on time, neat, polite and did a great job. Timing wasn't an issue with us but everything was ready when promised and installed as described. All in all, we had a great experience and would recommend them wholeheartedly.
Be afraid, be very afraid.
I bought several pieces of equipment from Stuarts. When they didn?t work they wouldn?t send someone out to fix it. Eventually, they wanted to charge me, a lot, to fix what they first installed badly and got mad at me when their stuff just didn?t work. They refused to give me my money back for useless accessories. For example, they insisted, when I bought expensive equipment, that I use items like ?power surge protectors? which they sold me. Later, I read the instructions which said ? under no conditions use power surge protectors.? In the end the only solution offered was to trade in (not return) everything I bought and buy new stuff from them at high prices. They were rude and insulting. I went elsewhere and boy am I happy I did.
