I had a badly decayed tooth, and on Christmas Day that tooth decided it was the perfect time to send me into so much pain i was unable to enjoy my family holiday. The next day I immediately called Monarch on Beltline.
I dont have insurance, and the quotes i got from other locations were over $100.00, the receptionist at Monarch was able to schedule me an emergency visit, as well as considering me a new patient (even though I had used other Monarch locations before) I needed a head scan, due to the infection in my sinuses, that scan was $160.00, but my first visit was completely covered with $29.99 only.
Monarch gave me several options for the tooth, as well as a discounted price on whichever procedure I went with, I decided the due to the decay I would have the tooth removed.
My tooth removal was today, my appointment time was at 9:00am, and by 9:15am the tooth was out and I was headed out the door.
The dentist was nice, and the assistant even played music to help me relax. They answered my questions concerning after care, and even went on to explain dry socket and what to do about that.
I dont understand the negative comments, but for me, someone without insurance and with a low income, I felt appreciative with their help. Many places treat people like me as lower class due to the financial situation, but at Monarch I felt very well taken care of. No there was no fluff, the dentist did let me know what could happen to my teeth when one is removed, but I like the straighforwardness. The assistant did say that my infected tooth smelled badly, but that was the infection. everything that was said, came with a explanation.
I will use Monarch off of Beltline in the future.
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE - DONT GO HERE. They take 6 months to file a claim and then when your insurance will not pay sense they take too long they charge the bill to you. First they will "look into it " then send your bill to collections and not contact you when they "look into it" . Management is rude and getting ahold of corporate is difficult. ZERO customer service from Judy the manger. She is not capable of doing her job to contact you when she says she will and then sends your bill to collections. $900.00 you get to pay for them making a mistake.
This is the WORST place ever!!!!! II waited over an hour in the waiting room and finally at 5:05pm I was told (not walked or guided) to wait in the XRay room where I waited another 10 minutes. Finally, a Hispanic man came in and did my X Rays - he was the only kind staff member. I was then rushed around as the other staff packed up their stuff to leave for the day. After reviewing my info they said, "You had a stroke and you have heart conditions....we cannot help you. Maybe you can come back another day." He then walked out of the room, put on his jacket and left for the day. The manager, who was also very unprofessional decided to be just as rude and pushy. I have never felt so upset and so disregarded. I may have a heart condition but my head is in perfect working order. I am not stupid and do not appreciate the way I was treated. I called the office and told them about my heart condition... I also verified if I would or would not need anything from my cardiologist. I was assured that I was ok due to the type of condition I have. The lady on the phone told me if I needed an antibiotic I would need a letter from my doctor. Seeing how I didn't need an antibiotic I was ready for my appt. Do NOT come here!!!! I have never been treated so poorly by a dental office.
The entire staff was wonderful. I will be returning soon for another cleaning and to get my fillings done. Positive attitude and Professionalism goes a long way. I've never had such a "pleasantly painful" time before with a deep cleaning. Top Notch Staff.

Always treated in a friendly, professional manner on every visit going back many years at the Belt Line Garland location. All questions answered, charges explained, and treated as both friend and patient. Rather rare at any medical office these days!
