We went to the 38 Special concert and it was a rip off. First, Donnie Van Zant wasn't even there. How do you call it 38 Special without Donnie. We paid $50 for prime seats, but the people in front of us stood up and blocked our view. It is against the rules to stand up because people behind you have to see, so we remained seated but could not see over them. The security officer was notified many times but said that the people were friends of the band so they could not do anything about it. In addition, the friends of the band were trying to get others to stand up. When this failed, they started giving the crowd the bird. This was not just one or two people, it was a whole table. For awhile they had others that weren't even in that section. They had seats right up against the stage. Not only did they have to stand, they had to put their hands up completely blocking the view of the guitars. 38 special, thanks for ripping us off and thanks for your friends giving us the finger. Right back at you.

A huge dance floor and eclectic programming make this spot a favorite with music lovers. – In Short
This former ballroom appeals to a wide variety of music lovers with its eclectic programming and huge dance floor. And when a band of Texas swingers such as Asleep at the Wheel takes the stage, this entertainment center feels more like a rural roadhouse. This versatile space also hosts local and national blues acts such as Bo Diddley, Jonny Lang and Delbert McClinton. Non-music lovers can enjoy bowling lanes and restaurants.
