FABULOUS – I NEVER WROTE A REVIEW FOR SERVICE BEFORE. PETE SENT US A DISHWASHER REPAIRMAN AND WE WERE EXPECTING THE WORST, SOMETHING LIKE "MR. YOU NEED A NEW MACHINE AND WE'LL SELL YOU ONE!" TO OUR SURPRISE, THE REPAIRMAN SCRAPED SOME HARD DEPOSITS OFF OF SOME PARTS, TOLD US TO RUN THE WASHER WITH VINEGAR A FEW TIME AND VOILA, JUST LIKE NEW. PROFESSIONAL, REASONABLE, WE SAY GREAT!!

Best Service Around – Being in the appliance repair business must be a thankless job. People only call you when there is a problem. They are impatient and frustrated that it can't be fixed yesterday.

I have used Pete's Major Appliance for years. Yes sometimes parts are not available right away, yes the person on the phone answering 100 calls a day may not come across with what you want to hear but in the end the job is done and it is done well.

I don't know exactly how long they have been in business but it has been for quite a while.- There must be a reason.

Most of the complainers in these reviews are probably the complaining type anyway... I have found there is a dedication to doing a good job by Pete's Major Appliance and would recommend them highly

Pete'sMajor Appliance – In the last month I requested service from Pete's,

I was very pleased with the professionalism and

courteousness of the office staff that scheduled my appointment, to the technician who serviced my appliance. I appreciate there efforts in providing a very

courteous, knowledgeable, professional, and therough

service.

I would highly recommend this company to anyone that is serious in repairing their appliances. Bravo!

Buyer beware! – Have been waiting over a week for service rep to come back and repair my air conditioner....The absolute worst customer service ever. I would never, ever recommend ithis company to any of my friends even if they were the only ones in the planet.

Great service – i just have to say that the women who answer the phones are lovely. They are friendly and on top of everything. They really do want to help you in anyway they can. Of course getting yelled at by RUDE customers don't help their day become any easier. they work through it and provide excellent service. They are truly special people and i thank them so much for the help they gave me.

Pete's Major appliance would be NOTHING with out them!

Pete's Can Offer Good Service – Pete's is the only service center within 40 miles of Paramus for our Swedish made dishwasher.

My wife called and told me about an encounter with a very rude and uncooperatiive woman that answers the phone. She asked me to call and deal with them. I read the reviews and expecting the worst possible experience called and spoke to a very nice and reasonable woman. I could hear a rude and nasty woman in the background.

The appointment was scheduled, the service men arrived as agreed and were very knowledgeable, professional and courteous.

Like many people I normally write reviews only when I am disappointed with the service. In this case I made an exception.

WARNING- DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE – Wished I had read these reviews before I used these incompetent idiots.

You are all so right. Get rid of that woman who answers the phone. Unbelievably rude and unprofessional. She needs to learn how to LISTEN and then respond in a courteous & professional manner.

In this economy, can they really afford to be this rude and unprofessional

WORST & RUDE Customer Service Manager – Same experience as other reviewers here. They have the most terrible service department. The woman that schedules service appointments is unbelievably rude!!!

Service ... What Service???? – Rude would be a nice way of describing the treatment my wife received when she called Pete's Major at the behest of the manufacturer (Dacor) of our new kitchen range. We had a "Distinctive Service Reference Number" as did Pete's, however once we gave our zip code (07932) to the rude and arrogant service agent, "the wheels came off the trolley."

This person informed us in a very nasty way that Pete's did not service our area as we were simply to far away! She indicated that we should have known this despite the fact that we were referred to Pete's by the manufacturer for warranty service. We were told that the manufacturer should know that Pete's wouldn't service us because we were out of their range and we should call Dacor back and inform them of this.

Even if Pete's were considered the best in the business at repairing Dacor appliances, I would not use them because my thought is that an organization with such poor customer service and customer service training probably trains their service techs in the same manner and therfore probably provides appliance service poorly as well!

Worst (rude) customer service ever! stay away – Pete's Major was recommended to me by the company I get the appliances insured from. My first experience with them was very disturbing and unforgetable.

They were scheduled to visit and fix the appliance on a certain day (a week after they first called to check the dates) as there was no availablity. A day before they were to come, they called and cancelled saying that the part was not delivered. When asked for an ETA, the manager was extremely rude and impolite. I understand that there could be delays sometimes, and I also understand that its not Pete's fault that the part is not delivered to them. What bothers me is their complete lack of professionalism. At the end of the conversation, the manager even had a audacity to coach me to thank her for her rude behaviour. I was clearly disturbed by this and I can tell you that I have never once had an issue with any other person or store. It sounded like she challenged me to get the work done without her help. I wanted to share my experience to make sure that no one else suffers with bad customer service and an absolute lack of patience or experience. If the manager was the worst, I only wonder how the rest could be trust to come fix something at your house. I still do not trust them to do a good job at fixing my appliance and I will be looking to see if I can find anyone else but them.

What you take with you is the experience of having a problem smoothly serviced by professionals with utmost care for your time and peace of mind. I did not get ANY of the above with Pete's.

Worst customer service ever! would never recommend it to any of my friends even if they were the only ones in the planet.
