Setting, Service and Spectacular – I love Felix Cafe! I have had the pleasure of hosting my past two birthday parties there. All though I order the same thing everytime, the food is fabulous. The price is right the portions are enormous and the service is the best. The waiters remember my plate, how my meat is to be cooked, what type of salad dressing I use and always bring me a tres leches when I'm done. I bring new friends and old friends with me on occassion and they always ask, "when can we go back?" The cozy dining is what makes Felix so unique. Eating outside or in you can't go wrong.
Great place – I'm a college student and this place is great for my wallet and not mention my stomach. All the servers there are super nice and great me well even though I'm in flip flops and shorts.
Good food, good prices – I've been here a couple of times and never had a bad experience. I love to sit outside on the patio and have a view of the circle. The food is always spectacular -love the plantains and the tres leches cake (which I usually can't stand) is delicious!! The price is right, the food is great, and the outdoor dining is wonderful...what more could you want?
Simple Cuban fare in Plaza Square, cooked up and served at unbeatable prices. – In Short
Intimate and simply decorated, Felix's offers winning Cuban soul food with minimal exterior fuss. The small cafe is located on Old Towne Orange's traffic circle, with tables inside and out. Expect to find such Cuban staples as pork and chicken entrees, served with yellow rice, black beans and plantains. Healthy portions are served at unbeatable prices, with full dinners hovering in the $7 to $8 range.
Flavor and Value – Felix has fantastic empanadas, and the dinner specials are a great value: about $10 gets you three courses of soup or salad, entree, and a choice of desserts. I highly recommend the tres leches cake. The entree choices include seafood, chicken, or beef and include black beans, rice, and plantains. There's enough to take home for leftovers!
Cuban & Spanish Flavors – If you are in the mood for paella or some plantains then you should go to Felix's. I've been going there for a couple of years and it has always served me right. The paella is my favorite dish. This is a very busy place especially on peek hours so make sure you don't have to go somewhere in a hurry. With the ambience of Old Town Orange it's a nice place have a lunch or a casual dinner that won't put a dent in your Gold Card.
