The Ideal cover is IDEAL. I have read the negative reviews below and find them very hard to stomach. I personally have purchased 2 of these covers over the last 10 years or so.

You MUST purchase from an authorized dealer. I have contacted them twice in the past and they referred me to a local dealer in my area.

They DO NOT SELL DIRECT.

So..... where did these other people that wrote negative reviews actually purchase their cover????

Poor Product, Worse customer service. Spa cover checked and filled with rain water rendering it unusable within 3 years. Called and Emailed Ideal multiple times with mixed results, from ignoring me to “pass the buck” attitude.

Finely was told the cover was past its warranty (by 2 months) “contact your dealer”

Have been a spa owner for the past 30 years this is by far the worst spa cover I have ever owned. DO NOT BUY!

Great Customer Service. The stitching on my spa cover came undone after owning the cover for two years. I called the company I purchased the cover from & they gave me Ideal's phone number. I called Ideal & they were very nice. They explained the options I had & I decided to sent the vinyl part in for repairs. They were very upfront with the the options I had & shipping being my responsibility, which is explained in the warranty anyway so I was already aware of this, but appreciate them telling me all the same. They repaired my cover & it looks great! In the future I will make sure to get another Ideal spa cover.

Very poor quality. I purchased this cover as a replacement for a 10 year old cover that only had stitching problems. Purchased in July of 2008. Although the cover appears to be quite sturdy, the vinyl has not weathered well at all. It has discolored from the sun. I applied a conditioner immediately after first receiving it, and continually after that. My 10 year old cover NEVER looked as bad as this one does. People would never guess it's only 2 years old.

I will never purchase another Ideal Spa Cover. Very disappointted.

Ideal spa covers.fullerton. I just received my 2nd spa cover for my Jaccuzzi that I purchased from Ideal. I just cant find anything wrong. The quality is very good compared with others. Also the price is below many others. I'll get my third one from them when the time comes. (5 years)

Worlds largest Spa Cover Company in the World!. Ideal does not sell to the public. We will always refer the homeowner to a dealer nearest them.

atrocious service!. I ordered a cover, went to go pick it up. Waited and waited for someone to bring it out. They threw it in the back of my pickup and waled away. I got home and opened the box, WRONG color, no tie downs, and the skirt was way too short. NOT WHAT I ordered. I took it back and received the runaround about refunds. I had to end up disputing it with my credit card company. I ended up buying one from a local company www spacoversplus com they made it right and even delivered it!!! I would stay away from "ideal"!!!

Horrible customer service!. I ordered a cover from this company and it was as if I was bothering them when I went to pick it up. unreal!

Lousy workmanship, customer satisfaction even worse. We ordered a cover and lift. The Cover was put on exactly to the instructions, and within 2 months, it ripped in NON-STRESSED areas. We contacted our local dealer, and were left to deal with these slobs by ourselves.

We sent the receipts, pictures of the rips, and the warranty card to Ideal. They dragged their feet for a couple of months, while our lid got worse. Their final decision was for us to remove the skin and send it to them to be repaired. They would not replace it. We wasted over 500.00 on this piece of garbage, so what was a few more dollars of shipping from Alaska?

After these holes in Cali saw the skin, they sent a new one at our expense again. If they had actually looked at the p;ictures of the damage, and pulled their heads

out, they would have just sent the skin directly.

Than ks to their shoddy workmanship, we are now trying to put the styrofoam back in the skin. Save your selves time, trouble and cash. Buy a lid from anyone but Ideal.
