Bug in beer, food was bland.
I forewent one of my favorite restaurants to experience the Beer Co. I regretted this decision as soon I looked down to see that the beer I had ordered arrived with a little something extra - a bug! Luckily I spotted it before I took a drink. My mother sent her beer back due to a dirty glass. Meanwhile, at least one bug stalked our table during the whole meal.
My parents and I all found our meals to be bland and tasteless. My father ordered the gulash and said the sauce tasted like Dinty Moore. I had the Sesame Chicken, with DRY, COLD vegetables and no taste.
This place was a waste of time and money.
Great ambiance, food, beer.
Lots of variety on the menu, which changes periodically. Steak and seafood specials daily, based on chef's choice. Regular menu includes vegan and vegetarian choices.
Beer is good - ten or more custom brews on tap at any time.
This brew pub in Rochester stays packed because of it's fun atmosphere and exemplary beers..
In Short
Located in a former knitting mill in downtown Rochester, the decor is gleaming, from blinding silver vats to the clean, homey look of the wooden floors and brick walls. Enjoy highly rated brews at the bar, shooting some pool, or relaxing in the lush Martini Room. Food favorites are the spicy Louisiana Jambalaya and the creamy Chicken Picatta. There is also a nice selection of pizzas, pastas and the usual sandwiches and salads.
NIce place. Great place to go on a weekend, if you can manage a little wait. Food was good and beer is better. A good date place!
