The worst I've EVER been treated! – I went uptown last night w/ a group of professional for the St Patty's day We went to Enso, w/no desire to join the crazieness going on at the time. There were 8 of us, We sat at the bar. We ordered food, drinks, paying for atmosphere, We stayed as a group. After we ate, deciding where to go next, I decided to go outside to see if I could find a cigarette. The security guard standing outside the door at Enso gave me one. While waiting I sat at one of the chairs part of Enso's outside dining. Immediately a waitress came out & told me I was NOT allowed to sit there, & acted like I had committed a criminal offense. COMPLETELY RUDE about it. I was nice. I assumed she thought I was one of the crazies & was trying to take over a table. My friends came out the front , so I went over only to find they had not decided where we were going yet. There was a ledge on the front by the entrance, so I sat down to wait, & there was a man sitting fairly close to the ledge & offered me a seat at his table. I shared the remainder of my cigarette w/him. Within 30 seconds of this, a completely, totally nasty white trash, no class redheaded waitress came out & BEYOND rudely told me they were receiving complaints about me & I had to leave immediately or she was going to call security. All I had done was eat dinner at the bar, have a smoke w/the security guard outside, sat at a table of the restaurant I just paid to eat at which was evidently a crime to do so, & then sat at a table I was INVITED to sit at, I tried very nicely to explain I had just eaten dinner AT Enso & was a paying customer, & the gentleman at the table had ASKED me to sit w/him. She raised her voice & told me to leave NOW or she would call security. I walked over to my friends to tell them of the HORRIFIC & HUMILIATING way I was just treated by an establishment I had just eaten at. I became infuriated thinking about it and felt I had to say something to her because of how completely & utterly rude she had been. I personally have over 30 employees and would've fired her on the spot for treating a patron the way she did. I went over & WHISPERED in a very soft voice as to not disturb everyone else enjoying their dinner that she was a COMPLETE BITCH for treating a patron of the restaurant that way, & then I walked back over to my friends. 2 minutes later a security guard approached me & told me I was being escorted off the premises. I thought it was a complete joke, until he told me I was no longer even allowed to be AT the Epicenter AT ALL. I explained my story to him, & he agreed that he didn't think I had done anything wrong, but had to do his job as the management had asked. They took me down to where they detain people (you know, the criminals & base human beings), and asked me to leave. I said ok. I went back upstairs to the restaurant to try to explain to the bartender who had been waiting on us what had happened. Before I could get 2 words out the manager physically grabbed me by the arm & told me I had caused enough problems in his restaurant & dragged me out of the restaurant. I left after that, but KNOW THIS: If you are a paying individual at what is supposed to be a class act restaurant, & you are a class act individual don't expect to be treated as such. THAT'S WHAT I PAID FOR!. I run an EXTREMELY large business, & I do an EXTREME amount of marketing for restaurants planning events to help them build their businesses. For Enso I will use whatever means I have at my disposal & ALL of my connections to ensure everyone I know understands how they can expect to be treated at ENSO!! I plan to consult my attorney (who was with me) to decide on future action,.
