LALALALALOOOOVVVVEEEE – This is a great place for some authentic mediterranean food, my mother and I stopped by, she is originally from Lebanon so she is very critical of Lebanese food- and she said she loved it! There is no higher compliment in my opinion and I believe that they deserve- everything was excellent and they are just such nice, down to earth, and friendly people.
LA's best Lebanese grub – saw their grand opening sign and decided to stop in and i'm so glad I did. it was at night and they were about to close but I begged them to stay open and they kindly obliged to make me a chicken shawarma entree which was very tender and juicy. I took their menu and I also saw that they have fattoush salad which is my favorite and for all of those who don't know what it is It is THE BEST salad you will ever have in your life with sour apples and cracked bread inside. I can't wait to come back.
Lovely Experience – Came here because my father was Lebanese and he used to make some really great dishes. It was so nice to see that the dishes here were so homemade the way that my father used to make them when I was little, plus there is a great home feeling ambience.
another good find – This place is a hidden gem, Hadia serves up the best homemade mediterranean cooking I've had thus far- dare I say, she might even trump my mother's cooking....? Sry, Mom :)
Anyways, Fantastic place!
Very good Lebanese food – Really love their food, it is just plain old classically good Lebanese food and the chef is just one of the most gracious and talented cooks IMO. this place is supposed to be a mediterranean fusion and they have a few Israeli and Greek dishes on the menu- but it is about 98% Lebanese. Very healthy stuff on the menu as well, the veggie plate and the foulle are excellent!
And the Arabic coffee is also delicious- a great ending to any meal. I like to sit back and just enjoy some coffee with the homemade baklava that Hadia makes and just CHILL.
Love this place – I came here because of citysearch, and because I wanted to try something a little different than italian or Mexican and this was the right choice! Very high quality food- I would say 5 star quality without the 5 star price. I usually go to Carnival in Sherman Oaks because it is more well known, but I think this place definitely tops it! the cooking is more soulful and the prices are better because it is more of an intimate setting so you get more of a personal experience. It is a small restaurant-seats a little less than 30 people and it is within a small center- but by no means would I classify this place as a "hole-in-the-wall" establishment. Hole-in-the-wall places usually make me think of some place dark and small and not very nice- but this place is very warm, cozy, clean, and well taken care of with very lovely art deco on the walls.
Plus, the chef is very nice and the waitress was very quiet and sweet and checked up on us frequently to make sure we were doing okay, so it was a very good dining experience. I will definitely come back and bring some friends in the future. Reccomend!
Really good food! – Really nice and laid back place. The chef is always serving up the best home cooked food at the best prices on the blvd! I tried their grape leaves and chicken kebabs and now im hooked! this is one of the very few places where i know that anything that I order off the menu is going to be good.
I used to go to other places for my shawarma laffa sandwiches during lunch time- but they all raised their prices and cut back on their sizes, but this place offers a huge laffa wrap at only 6.99 which is the best price I have seen for such a big laffa anywhere in LA so far! Top notch place!
Glad I came – I'm glad I came, the food tastes very authentic and juicy. The flavors were well blended and I could tell that the cook really knows how to make middle eastern food- or more speciically Lebanese food, which has more subtle spices than most Israeli dishes, but it still packs a punch! The food gives you just the right amount of flavor without overwhelming you which I think is a very cultivated and talented thing to be able to do. I've been to super pricey establishments and paid triple digits for food that did not have the same heart and soul that this food has. Plus, the prices here are very good so whenever my husband and I go, we can afford to get a little bit of everything and then take home the rest.
I was a little disappointed that they did not have a liquor license, but I spoke to the owner and he informed me that they were not allowed to get one due to the fact that the establishment next door sells liquor and it would create competition. So I always bring my favorite bottle and they serve it for me without any cork fees or serving fees. Now, that is real customer service! The decor is very eclectic and very inviting- not like other hole in the wall establishments, and even though it is small I always enjoy sitting in there very much because it feels intimate more than "small" due to the nice decorations. If you haven't already tried it, then give it a go and you will be glad you did like me.
Fantastic Everything! – I really love this place, i come here all the time for some good comfort food. The decor is very inviting and the service is superb.
When I came, it was empty since they are fairly new, but we didn't care because that meant that we got extra attention all to ourselves.
They had reporters calling in to feature this restaurant on the news because apparently a few customers called in and hyped up the place- and rightly so. It is the first Lebanese & Israeli restaurant in LA, and even though the influences are the same from both countries you can definitely feel that you are getting the best of both worlds. It's such a wonderful place where everyone is invited to dine and it has such a cool, hip vibe.
This is on my list for the top ten restaurant in LA, and everyone should stop by to try them.
Best Mediterranean food I have tasted! – I always come here when I want some home-cooked and authentic food. This place, the staff, and the owners are super fantastic!
This is by far the best mediterranean food I have tasted in LA! All of their meats are tender and succulent, and whenever I have a party, I always order catering from them! They are simply fantastic!
If you are like me and only desire to put quality food inside your body- this is the place! It is great food, healthy, and top notch! And best of all, the prices are very reasonable.
The servers as welll as Hadia, the chef, always go out of their way to make sure you are having an enjoyable experience and enjoying your food. I send many of my friends to this place to try out and I have never heard of a bad experience coming from this place!
Love this place so much!
