Cannot understand the review below. We have been happy every time we've been there. The desserts are excellent, and there are so many choices of hot or cold foods that I cannot imagine someone not being able to find something they liked. Obviously, someone is very annoyed with something at the restaurant. They just re-opened in January with all brand new grills, etc, so how could there be dust bunnies everywhere. The owner is a sweet woman who would go out of her way to cook you something if you asked for it.
So, please, don't let anyone tell you it's not goo, because it certainly is. Super good sushi, and the best crab meat and cheese dish you've ever tasted. Their mochi balls with sesame seeds are unbelievable! Ice cream is very, very good.
This was the very worst restaurant that my husband and I have ever been to. The food was barely edible. I have no words to describe how awful this place was. It is a buffet and the food looked as if it had been sitting there forever and it tasted that way too. There were also dust bunnies hanging off of the grill where they are supposed to cook the food in the "hibachi" area.
After eating only a quarter of the plate of the food I had on my plate, I was so turned off that I could not bear to eat any more. My husband felt the same way and was so apologetic that he ever suggested that we try Tokyo Sushi Buffett and Grill, that he told me to just move on to the dessert.
I went to look at the cakes, cookies and ice cream. How can you mess those up, right? WRONG. The desserts were awful. They were stale and obviously right out of some kind of box, and the ice cream tasted like ICE ONLY - no cream. I could not even finish that.
AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!! We should have stayed and ate at the Ross Park Mall food court like we were going to. That would have been far superior to this. To add insult to injury, we had to pay 36.36 for two awful meals and we left there hungry. AGAIN>>>>AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!
