OMG .. the best patty melt ever. – My husband and I took a recent trip to Las Vegas and we stayed at the Stratosphere. We decided to have a meal at Roxy's Diner the first day. ... Yes, it's greasy, yes it's not good for you ....... But it was SOOOO GOOD!
I got the patty melt and my husband got the appetizer platter. His fried lobster bites were to die for and my patty melt was out of this world. It was on whole grain pumpernickel bread and it was the right amount of greasy ... the homemade chips were cooked perfectly and the nachos on my husband's plate were some of the best I've had.
The only complaints I had was that the prices were a bit steep and that it closed way too early. For a city that doesn't sleep, out eating schedules were way off and there really wasn't a good way to fill that late night hunger pang.
Drop prices by a couple bucks a dish and stay open a couple hours later and it would be a five star place to visit.
50's diner – Was by far the worst service and burger me and my family have ever had for the price....Our server seemed annoyed and did not smile once. After we got our food he walked over to our table and told us he was going on break and another server would be taking care of us which nobody ever did. Finally after finishing part of the worst hockey puck burger in the world and our plates sitting infront of us for quite some a time a manager came by and asked how everyrthing was and i told him burnt he said oh! and walk away..our plates never got cleared and being a bartender for 15 years the 1'st thing you learn is if you don't remove plates infront of guest before signing a check your tip dissapears...very unprofessional and food was terrible....Don't waste your money...
Friendly and Fun. – The food was ok, great for a lunch or just an average meal. The burger was tasty and it was fun watching all the waitresses sign and dance around the restaurant.
horrible customer service – the food was good but even though they only had about 5 customers in the restaurant they took 15 minutes to seat anyone our waitress acted annoyed at questions took our order brought our food and didn't come back until we were about to just go up to the register and ask if we could pay there we were really tired of waiting we finished eating and nearly 30 minutes went by and the waitress is standing there counting her tip money
