Not my ami – I went to Mes Amis with a large group of college students, and did not have an enjoyable experience there. It could be overwhelming with a group of 12+ young adults, but it shouldn't compromise for the poor, poor service we got; the waiters were impatient and rude. None of us were connoisseurs of French cuisine, but we definitely weren't immature or rowdy on any level. Getting the basic water and bread was already difficult, let alone refilling. I ordered the saumon fumee "pizza," and was thoroughly disgusted. It was pretty much a thin crunchy bread with little slabs of smoked salmon, capers, and DRENCHED in a rich cream cheese-butter. My friend ordered the shrimp pizza with white radish and was also unimpressed. The only good entrees I heard were the filet mignon and foie gras. The chicken (poulet aux herbes) was bland and dry according to another friend. The good things about the restaurant were that the ambiance was nice and cozy, and the choice of French music (from the Amelie soundtrack to modern French rock to Edith Piaf) was awesome. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant unless you knew exactly what you wanted- and if you're going there with only 1-2 other people.

Great Brunch!!!!! My new place for the weekend!!!! – Had brunch here , AMAZING!!!! FOUND IT WHEN I WAS WALKING DONE VERMONT_--- GUESS IT"S BRAND NEW, so they only have a Sandwich board on the sidewalk--But it has that South of France, Nice/Rivera vibe with the outside tables and red and blue seats- My waiter was a great guy, attentive and quick to refill my coffee, (which is better than Starbucks)---

Had the Fondue Omlette and it was AWESOME! Thought french food was ok before having this....Now, You'll be seeing me here Brunches for at least a year!!!!!

Check it out, it's a great place for sure!!!!!

Great Ambience, Centrally located! Great Service, Cozy New French Place!!! A+++++ – WOW!!!!

What a GREAT SURPRISE!!!!! This is the NEW FRENCH PLACE by TIGER LILY and I love it!!!!!! The FOOD is AUthentic and French!!! Healthy and if you like it like I do, you will be pleased!

Apparently, they just opened and they have an amazing wine selection too! THey also have a Kir Royale Happy Hour, and a cute little bar if you just want to come in for a little dessert and a glass of Vino!!!!

There's plenty of seating, in the cozy booths, (where my friends and I sat) or outside,,,,,,Ideal for people watching and just enjoying Los Feliz!!!!!!! It's really close to the Movie theatre too!!!

I had the Seared AHi Tuna Sandwich with the fresh baby mixed greens----It went perfectly with my Chilean Syrah!!!!!!!!! For dessert I had the creme Brulee and a lovely Kir ROyale to end the night!!!!

This is my new favorite spot in Los Feliz!!!!!!!!-

Great french bistro food – We found this restaurant walking down Vermont. It has fabulous french fries, sandwiches and omelletes. We checked out the dinner menu and will be back tomorrow for what looks like fabulous french food. My husband remarked the food was "as good" as a Parisian bistro - a very high compliment coming from him.

I definately and highly reccomend this new addition to Los Feliz

best kept secret – I stumbled across this restaurant on a sunday morning. During the weekend mes amis offers a brunch menu. I can't tell you how impressed and surprised I was. Such a cool location. Mes amis is worth checking out just for a cup of coffee and the people watching on vermont after a night of drinking. But, the food is unreal. I had the filet with poached egg that is served on a croissant. Made my weekend, and felt like I had discovered a really amazing place.

I have gone back a few times and I am going to say it now before anyone gets a chance; best bloody mary in l.a. This place can do it all. Romantic at night with a bottle of wine or a mellow place to hang out during the day and have something as simple as the cheese plate or an espresso.
