Great Place for Visitors – Nice small family-run, authentic Italian. Staff treated my two pre-teen girls like queens and cooked them pasta-to-order at their request. Free "sangria" and great salads and pastas. Perfect after a long day of sightseeing...we didn't want a noisy bar on a Friday night, but wanted good food in a place that wouldn't mind our casual dress. This was a friendly, quiet spot with great food and service that made us feel at home. (Great Cannoli and Capuccino too! :) )
Did lunch with the girls about a year ago and although much more casual at lunch time, we had a similarly positive experience.
At dinner they pull out the white tablecloths and some great seafood pasta specials.
Easy walk from all the main attractions in Old City and the National Park.
amazing – My boyfriend and I were walking in Old City this weekend, down Market Street and were looking for somewhere to grab a bite to eat. Since the weather was gorgeous it was a preference of ours to sit outside and enjoy the evening. We came across Panini and thought it looked perfect. It’s family-like, mom and pop atmosphere made it totally comfortable and relaxing. The food was absolutely delcious and the portions were huge, so you can image my amazement when we got the check and it was far below what we had expected it to be. Panini is perfect for the summer, what could be better then fabulous food, great weather, and even better prices. I think I’m going to do girls night there this week!
best price for the pasta in the old city! – I live in the neighborhood, I frequently go to this great little place , it serves an enormous amount of pasta , the price is great and you get a free glass of wine it is a BYOB!!! Also the paninis are delicious served with curly fries. I would highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner.
Panini Tratteria – The best BYOB I I have been to in Philly or NJ. Fast, friendly service. Party of 6, waitress sat us immediately. Our table samples many appetizers. Every appetizer was great! Scallops and Shrimp over pasta was my main course. Food was served hot and flavor of sauce was fantastic! Bread, another winner, to wipe up every drop. Highly recommended.
Editorial Review – Casual BYOB restaurant specializes in authentic Italian paninis, soups, salads, pastas and more.
Best panini in Philadelphia!! – This is a cozy little restaurant where you can eat good pasta, specials for only $ 9.95 inluding a complimentary glass of wine!!!!
But you can also bring your own bottle of wine to have it with your pizza or one of those many choices of paninis.
