Food was so so,,,I've been several times in attempt to give it a try, fajitas never came out same way and so bland. Beans so thin, the kicker was tge staff fighting amongst themselves in front of everyone...one appeared very intoxicated. It was embarrassing and I won't be back.rude staff,,,I can go right down the street to El Magueys and always be more than satisfied by great food and professional service. Don't waste your time, and don't go into the restrooms...yuk.

BEST MEXICAN FOOD IN MIDWEST – As a life long connoisseur (61 years) of Mexican food--from home cooking to the best and worst eating establishments in the Southwest, Midwest, Northwest, South and East--MI LUPITA's stands out above the rest.

The flavors, the chili, the taste of purro Mexicano is there for all to appreciate over the poorly franchised efforts attempting to be Mexican when they have no roots in the culture or the food.

Enjoy MEXICAN FOOD at its best at Mi Lupita's in Ballwin, MO.

Good Mexican food, friendly service – We had great service from the waiters and bus-sers at this restaurant! Good Mexican food, pretty much like all the other places. The only thing is it is a very small restaurant so I wouldn't bring a large group or come at "dinner time" expecting to get seated right away.

Best Mexican Comfort Food in West County – We have been eating at this restaurant for years?Very friendly atmosphere combined with excellent service.

The food is authentic and outstanding. Some of their excellent standards include the Pork Chimichanga, the Chile Relleno, Pepe?s Tacos (a steak taco with plenty of cilantro), and the Chicken Enchilada with Pablano (Mole) sauce.

They also serve some interesting dishes you don?t see often at other places: Guisado de Puerco is a braised pork stew-type dish which is total comfort food on a cold day; Bistek Zacatecano is very spicy sliced beef with tomatillas, onions, and chiles (this one is hot); Napoles (cactus) with chorizo is light and delicious; Athentic tomales to die for. No place has better tortillas, frijoles, and guacamole.

The bar has a nice selection of beers, and the Margaritas are top-notch as well.

For the price, it can't be beat.

Friendly Restaurant! Fabulous Food! – We were seated right away! Staff was extremely friendly! We were greated by name! It was more like a neighborhood restaurant! Love the food and margaritas!

Excellent choices on the menu! Most menu items are available with chicken, sliced beef, ground beef or pork! The Chili Rellenos are the BEST!
