For all of you people that have not gotten a refund from TVMAX/Wavevision, I would recommend that file a claim in small claims court. You may be able to get your fee back. If enough people did this, they would rethink their policy.

No refunds – I already posted my comment under TVMax (the previous owner) but I moved and no longer had to use Wavevision as Comcast was the provider at the apartment complex. I returned all my equipment in the original boxes and asked about the refund at the time. I was told that a final bill would be sent and a check cut for my equipment deposit. That was February 2011. I still am owed about $200. I even complained to the City of Houston who regulates the cable companies and didn't get any deposit back or response from the company. If the company wants a deposit say no and go with a dish.

NO REFUNDS - EVER – I became a Wavevision customer when they took over for TVMAX at the apartment complex where I live. Wavevision, like most service providers, requires customers to pay 30 days in advance for service. I was notified on a Friday afternoon that I was required to turn in my cable box to the apartment office by the following Tuesday. (This was at the beginning of a billing cycle and I had already paid for the next 30 days of cable services) Aparently, the service provider to the apartment complex had changed to Comcast and I was no longer allowed to use Wavevision as my service provider, this was not my choice. I have called Wavevision numerous times to request the refund of my pre-payment, as services were not rendered. I have been told on several occasions that my check would be mailed this week. Today, Susan Lessor (a team leader) informed me that Wavevision does not provide refunds for services not rendered. I did not have a contract with Wavevision and I feel that this is theft.
