One of the most revered of all Vegas pool parties is the Palms' self-explanatory Ditch Fridays. Three bars, two acres of pools, celebrities and celebrity DJs, models everywhere--you'll be living the dream, especially if you reserve one of the two-story poolside bungalows. It's good to be a girl here--they get in free, but it'll cost you at least $20 to be a guy.

for the most part good........but – the waitress service on the floor was horrible! not the fault of the girls, just too much ground to have to cover.we played slots on the south side where 1 girl was covering the whole area.i got 1 drink in 3 hours the first nite and the 2nd nite went to the north side where there were more girls, and was able to get 2 drinks in 3 hours.unless your playing the tables don't expect to get much service on the slots

Palms Rocks – We arrived and to our suprise the hot chick at the desk told us it was our lucky day, and she was upgrading us & our buddy to a suite (in place of our delux room that we paid $80 a night for). Casino was not busy the first night, but night # 2 was. It was awesome. Then our friend hooked up with a chick that told us how to get into a private party at the skin lounge with an open bar, and then tranferr to rain (after a little flirting with the bouncer) with no cover. We got sloppy drunk for free. The night was good. Will definently stay here again!

Palms was Awesome – The place was the perfect size. No losing any members of your crowd. The staff, dealers, pit bosses were all VERY pleasant and helpful. I didn't see one child in the hotel, which made for a nice experience. Young crowd. The pool scene was perfect and the food was very good. Top 40 music and great looking cocktail waitresses finished off the pleasurable experience. Rain and Ghostbar were a great time, but tip the bouncers early so you don't get stuck drinking in line for 2 hours.

Best beds youll ever sleep in – The most comfortable beds on the planet, rooms are about average Vegas size. Decor is modern hip.

Was there for New Years - Room service was fast, maintainence was fast, all staff was friendly.

Smaller hotel/casino so its easy to find people if you get seperated, but not too small.

Definitely recommend a stay there.

Did I mention this place is crawling with women?

The best little resort in town – The Palms is definately the place for the 20's and 30's crowd. It's not hug like the other big name resorts, but it offers all of the amenities of them. The casino area is the perfect size, and they have many black jack tables (my game of choice). They always pay Top 40 music through out the hotel and have great food. And for those who have kids, they have Kid's Quest childcare center and 14 screen movie theater. My wife says they have a wonderful spa. They have very nice rooms where you can even hook up an Xbox system for the kids!

Skip it! – The place is a joke! The no-theme theme is lame, and the people all look like they just got off a tour bus from the midwest. Having the "Real World" and MTV spend so much time there has made the place busier, but has ruined any sense of style it was going for. The shiny-shirt wearing guys and sorry girls do seem to get along, but if you've been to Vegas before, and are not amused with bachelor parties and kids experiencing the taste (and buzz) beer of the first time, stay away. There is nothing new here, and you will end up walking in, looking around, shaking your head in disbelief...and running back out the door.
