Beware Vindictive Reviews – Re: Bruce's December 6th Review: Is anyone going to fall for this? Seriously, how many people would spend 6 weeks researching a business if they didn't have a personal grudge against the people running it? Please, read Bruce's review and ask yourself "does this sound like the opinion of a rational person?" If the pizza really sucked that bad, just say it and move on. Even if this claim of a huge pizza-cum-drug-ring were true, why dredge up 35 year old problems with a business. One that incidentally has changed ownership several times since then. Then be sure to ask yourself "why is this person so adamant about me not even going there to try it?" Is Bruce really that concerned about your money? Is he more concerned about your health than the Utah State Health Department? Or could it be that on Facebook, on the owner's own page he swore
SLC's Worst Pizza – What a sad day that slacker expressionism enters the workplace. It makes for a revolting dining experience. No hairnets, unlaundered clothing (notice I didn't say uniforms), and a could-care-less attitude. If that wasn't bad enough, read on.
On to the cuisine. I use the word cuisine liberally. The pizza dough was so lacking in taste, I almost thought it was not sourdough. I ordered a combo and came away extremely dissatisfied. The cheese on top didn't adhere to the toppings, which included uncooked green peppers and rotting mushrooms. I ate one piece and had to throw the rest out. Unfortunately, or unfortunately, I could not return the pie because I did not even contemplate dining there--that's the fortunate part.
Go anywhere else. Free Wheeler Pizza seems more like a prison chow line than a reputable, family dining experience.
Best Pizza! – I always ask for a creative pizza and the cooks never disappoint. Delicious and worth every bite!
BEST DELIVERY PIZZA LOVE THE CRUST – the driver was rude in spite of a 30% tip
could not even say thank you.
Pizza was not as good as before I think they
(my old review)
GREAT PIZZA TELL THEM YOU WANT A THIN LAYER OF SAUCE
AND A SIDE OF PARM -TRY THE $10 TRY SOMETHING NEW SPECIAL
definately worth it – The service is quick and friendly, the pizza is good, not the best, but better than pizza chains and priced very well.
Yum! – This is the best pizza I've ever had anywhere! Better than I've had in San Francisco, Chicago, LA, or even in cruise ships! You get what you pay for. Thick, sourdough crusts with more than 70 toppings! Their menu offers much more than a large pepperoni, but makes the basics taste like new! hey aren't on 400 South anymore; so if you want the best pizza ever, go to the Freewheeler in Salt Lake. The one in Sugarhouse is something completely seperate, and not recommended!
