Just Go, you'll be pleasantly surprised, and happily full. – I actually went to Rudolpho's one night with my family because it's about a minute away from my house, and we were unable to agree on a restaurant. I was concerned that it was going to be "divey" inside, but WOW, was I wrong! It's actually really comfortable inside, with great food, and HUGE portions. The decor is ecclectic, with an homage to Rudolph Valentino and other hollywood actors of that by-gone age. It used to be a salsa night club, but have changed owners or something and is now a cozy bar and restaurant. I highly recommend the Calamari appetizer! Over the course of the last 7 months or so, there have been a few changes. They do have mandatory valet on some nights, and I thought that was a bit ridiculous, given the fact that they have a pretty large parking lot that's adjacent to the building. And while I find the staff very friendly, they are usually understaffed on any given night. Another bonus is that they do "Booze Clues" trivia night every other Wednesday at 7:30. This is a lot of fun, but bring at least 5 people, because the trivia is pretty difficult!
Solid 9 - Wonderful Atmosphere – I love this place... Not only is the decor beautiful the food is great. They have a really nice bar and the whole staff is nice. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a nice spot with ample parking. It's a great happy hour spot as well as a nice place to have a romantic dinner, the lighting is really nice.
Great Tree-Lined Patio – I stopped in here for the first time in a long time, and what a difference! They have a huge hardwood bar with three plasma screens, a cheap happy hour, and a solid menu with affordable prices. Even the filet mignon with green peppersorn sauce is only $18!! I stuck to the happy hour and appetizers, but will be back for more. The patio is shielded from the street by a fence and lots of trees and plants. The fountains drown out the sound of passersby, and it's a wonderful place to relax. Free Parking!
Salsa your heart out – This place is terrific on Wed. for salsa. I have become a regular and love dancing here on Wed. The cover is reasonable ($7) and DJ is also pretty good. I've danced with some terrific salsaseros here and always enjoy myself. The people are friendly and the dancefloor is busy but not so crowded that I can't do any sophisticated moves.
Salsa for life! – I love Rudolpho's on Wednesday night! It's an awesome vibe, the people are great, baggin' salsa dancers of all ethnicities. I mean this spot is so awesome and you feel everyone's energy, dance moves, and above all the salsa fever in the air. I definitely recommend this hot salsa club for Wednesday night to all. Parking situation either on the street or valet parking for about $3-5 dollars. The cover charge is about $7 which is a cool price for the time your going to be having.
So bring your dancing shoe and a partner, if you don't have a partner don't worry there are plenty of great dancers, men and women.
Alright see you at Rudolpho's!!!
I only go to this club on the last Saturday of every month for that it is a Middle Eastern dance night. Club 1001 Nights holds its events over there and it provides lots of delicious Middle Eastern food and men :-)
