best pizza in LA! – i just moved here from New York, and have been looking for a good a thin crust pizza. Look no more just found my new spot.
not worth it!!! – Decent pizza for slices. totally rude staff. I think that one time two guys working there were almost going to have a fist fight. terrible parking. They had a "C" rating for a week or so.
Rude staff! – The pizza is pretty damn good...IF you can get through the rude and incompetent staff. I agree with the posting below, that, this place is becoming barely worth the pizza.
Avoid – The pizza is not very good. The service, as someone else posted, is even crappier and the parking is pretty dreadful too. It is hard times indeed if you happen to end up at this place.
NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE – I wrote a review after my last bad experience and it somehow was pulled off - but I will say it again. The original owners sold the place. The new owners don't care who they put on the phone or at the register. I went into to order take out and felt such aggressiveness from the motley looking crew running the front counter...sorry folks but its true. Mexicans with attitudes running a supposed Italian Rest. that don't say thank you or even respond when u place ur order is not for me. The guys at the front counter also snack out of the bins they use to dress salads with ...one guy put his raw hands into the carrots and kept munching away - DISGUSTING! Then my pizza sat up on top of the shelf for 10 min. I tried to politely ask if my pizza was ready and I got more attitude and was dismissed and told they would call me. My suspicions were right and it was my pizza sitting on top getting cold for 10 minutes. Not an apology or a reheat was offered. Our family used to order a pizza or two a week for the last 8 years...now we go to Pizza Buona. I suggest u check them out and leave the attitude to itself.
Now THAT'S what I call a pie! – Best pizza I've had in LA hands down. I am a big fan of the deep dish crust so that's what we got. A 9 piece pie is HUGE and the crust is definitely deep! It was almost focaccia style dough, which I love. I hear that the thing crust is awesome as well. Sure, they were a little snippy on the phone when I called for delivery, but who cares. This pizza was to die for and it arrived at my house in only 30 mins. Beat THAT Dominoe's and corporate chains alike!
Great Pizza, good service, and great value – Recently found this hidden gem through city search. Great New York Style Pizza! The combination specials are great deals that you have to take advantage of. Their antipasta and salad are delightful additions to the pizza. I work in downtown, so it's convenient for me to order take outs on the way home. People there are friendly and fast. Parking is limited during busy hours, so I have find street parking.
Great pizza--rotten service – Really really good pizza... but don't bother trying to order over the phone. Either their ringer is broken, or they don't bother to pick it up. I've had three experiences now when I've tried to call them and they don't answer--for 30-45 minutes of redialing. They need a manager... badly. (See the review about how they're always running out of stuff.)
You'll only be frustrated!!! – WOW! This place has gone DOWN HILL! Every time I call they are out of nearly everything that's on the menu. Whoever does the ordering for this place should be fired! And of course they wait until you order something to tell you they're out of it. They were out of Spaghetti like 4 times - they were out of pepperoni twice. Can't someone run across the street to the Gelson's and pick some up? What the hell kind of place is this?! Not to mention, they have basically threatened that it will take an "hour and a half OR MORE" for delivery. Why so long? They don't have any food to deliver anywhere! This place sucks. Not recommended unless you don't mind eating cheeseless pizza without any toppings and waiting a day to get it.
Hard Times Pizza – Dear Sir or Madam I love the service and food it.s really good. Thank you James Zagata
