This is the place to be in a Friday night! The people here are all amazing, they will chat with you and all of them are all friendly. Great place to have fun and meet people.
They have amazing ribs and wings. They also have great cocktails and the people here are so polite and patient. I will go back here this weekend.
Great place to hang out after a game. They also have burgers and fries and the beer is so perfectly chilled that my friends and I would stop talking for a while for a good sip.
GOOD TIMES – Bottle service is excellent, and not too too pricey. The service was great a little crowded but they got their job done. Bartender mixed me a couple of her own specialty drinks and they were fabulous! It?s packed on Saturdays so if you hate big crowds it isn?t the place for you, but I loved every minute of it.
Always fun – If you walked in during the day you'd think it was just an out-of-the way bar in an out-of-the-way strip mall. No pool table, no darts, just a bar, tables and chairs, and a large dance floor and small stage. But on the weekends it rocks. Some of the best bands in Ventura play there, and the crowd loves to dance. The folks are all a little older (but not dead!) and even the younger folks hang out. You can't go wrong with the bands that play, and there's no cover and usually no fights. Good atmosphere and good people.
Can be good but inconsistant. – This place is very old school as bar / lounges go, it looks very 1970's and the customers look like they've been there since then. It's mostly an older adult crowd, average age somewhere around 50, not that it's a bad thing, I'm 49 as of this writing. The fun factor depends on who's working at the time and what band is playing. Some of the bands are genuinely talented but more often they get lounge-lizard reject bands that stink. The crowd goes nuts for whoever is playing though, it's not big on good taste in music here, as long as the band makes noise, the people will dance.
It is almost always empty when the dude bartends, (you'd think the owner would pick up on this) but the women behind the bar are generally good and bring in more people. On weeknights without the bands it's a good conversation bar, I haven't seen many sloppy drunks there. Some of the desperate-to-get-laid old men can be a bit annoying.
I've had fun there and will probably go back, it's kind-of a good hide-out.
