Excellent work! I was leaving to go out-of-town in two days and needed a pair of pants hemmed. They got the work done and didn't charge me extra for the rush job!
Not best experience – Unfortunately I didn't have the same experience that everyone else had - bad luck I guess. I thought it was to expensive for the minor work I had done and no people skills to speak of. The woman told me they would have the right zipper length for my jacket and they didn't, the one they put in was to long. I'm very disappointed in their work and I have to keep looking for a tailor.
Great job, very professional – I love my pants. Both were jeans and they look like I purchased them. You can't see where they were taken in. They matched the detail perfectly! I love them. Tailorite is the best!
Tailorite Service – Read the other reviews with their caveat to look out for brusk customer service and had my doubts, but I found this to be a well run family business, even with a photo of the ABQ mayor with the proprietors on the wall. I didn't mind that fact that there were small children present, as the service was just fine. Oh yes, had an excellent repair done on a rent seam in my Peruvian baby alpaca sweater, reasonable priced and returned on schedule.
High Quality Work – I took a suit in that badly needed work (I got a heck of a deal on the suit and loved the material, but it didn't quite fit). The jacket needed to be brought in everywhere (shoulders, waste) and the sleeves needed a few inches of length added (I have rather long arms for my torso). The pants needed to be brought in a tad and the hemmed a bit as well. A few days later, I had a suit that fit like a glove...and nothing is more important with a suit than it fitting exactly right. They aren't the cheapest around, but considering the quality it is a bargain. I've been hunting for a while and finally found a tailor in town I trust.
On Tailorite – After the rushed, rather rude initial customer service, I was VERY pleasantly surprised when I picked up my items (four pairs of pants in need of hemming and taking-in at the back of the waistband). The work was near-perfect, exactly what I'd asked for despite many difficult seams. The waist alterations showed particular skill; several pants had high or funky waistbands, and the modifications were careful and literally seamless in appearance. A bit pricey, but not bad considering the quality work. Just don't let the front-counter lady push you around!
