Nothing but good things to say about Dr. Helper and staff – Dr. Helper has been taking care of our animals for over 10 years. We and our furry friends have been treated with nothing but respect. Yes, this is a busy place, which is not surprising with the huge client base they have built up. The prices are very fair also. If you think otherwise, try some of the other animal clinics around town. Having owned my own business, I am well aware of what overhead is all about. The cost of doing business keeps going up for everyone.
If you have a gripe or feel you were not treated properly, perhaps you should take it up with the proprietor before you air an anonymous rant on the Internet.
We can't thank the doctors and staff enough for all of the great care our pets have received over the years. Keep up the good work! Kudos to the entire staff.

Good Place Gone Bad – I used to work with Northview through a group called CARMA (a non-profit rescue) about 5-6 years ago, and back then they were prompt, helpful, and reasonably priced. Now that I bring my own pets, you wait on hold if you call (even if you say you can't wait, they put you on hold), the waiting area is usually jam packed and the ladies up front are rude, impatient, and rarely smile or wish you nice day. The prices have risen so much that someone on my salary just can't afford it, let alone the nearly 30 minute drive that I make just to pick up prescription food.
One of the doctors also refused to help answer questions about a raw diet for my dogs and got very aggravated that I was even considering it, rather than professionally guiding me or even recommending me to someone else if she had issues with it.
I am slowly moving all my pets and records elsewhere.
dr. helper – in response to justsayin200, please call my office and ask to speak directly with me. let me review your record and help you with any problems you may have had with my services.
not great – The little girls who work there are daffy at best. They keep you on hold forever when they don't hang up on you. Dr. Helper took a full year to diagnose ear mites! Charging $70.00 for each visit and, yes, it took four visits. I have been taking my dogs to this vet for over 9 years and in the last four years the place has gone downhill. I will be going somewhere else.
Dr Helper and Staff are Terrific! – All my fur-faces (kitties) have been patients of Dr. Helper's since 1983, and he is the BEST! I drive 45 miles one way to take my cats to him. He truly loves animals and has a great way of explaining any health and medical issues and concerns to their humans. He takes the time and care necessary for each patient, and is just an all-around great guy! Thank you for keeping my kitties healthy. We really appreciate your hard work and kind way you treat everybody.
